If a thread can suggest the firing of MikeW oodson, NY writer can post a "year later" article about "you know who" that wears red and yellow, then the Answer Man can celebrate the arrival of Martin to the playoffs push mix.

If either Camby or Sheed can dress out in March that would be phenomenal.

Enough with the whining.

Woodson has his head in his *** Kidd should not be starting Amare should be at PF! , He's playing great when utilized as PF and not when he is used as a center backing up Tyson, The Melo at PF is not creating mismatches because the opposing SF always guards him and then you have undersized Melo guarding PF's which is ridiculous. I'm tired of the team falling behind you got 2 of the best 5 players coming off the bench in JR & Amare and that is stupid no other team does that, you should have your best 5 come out guns blazing and trust the bench to hold the lead while guys go to the bench and get some rest.

Mray20 - everyday people who insist they know more than a professional who played under Bobby Knight and Red Holzman, sat next to Chuck Daly, and Rudy T - and who has head coached more games in reality than they ever have in fantasy - are delusional beyond comprehension.

starting three guards, a SF and a center doesnt show expertise either.

At least most of them seem to be happy and industrious in their mentality.

Not only do I believe it's time to start Amar'e, but I also believe it's time to start J.R Smith at 2G.

Enough with acting like J.R's our "6th man off the bench" when in reality? He's getting starting minutes. With our starters too. Only Melo and Felton average more minutes per game when compared to J.R.

Starting J.R and Amar'e also gives us a chance to allow Shumpert time to re-gain his form while Kidd has a chance to rest up on the bench (heading into the postseason). Kidd going 1/7 while being scared to shoot is getting old. Shumpert (last night) shooting 1-5 with only 4 points, 2 boards, 1 assist and 1 steal isn't getting it done either. J.R on the other hand at least went 5/12 with 14 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal and only 1 turnover.

J.R and Amar'e coming out with our starting unit would simply compliment our starting 5 that much more.

C: Tyson Chandler.
PF: Amar'e Stoudemire.
SF: Carmelo Anthony.
2G: J.R Smith.
PG: Raymond Felton.

I'd love to see Woodson give that rotation a chance. Why not? Have Amar'e replace Melo at PF. Have Melo replace Shumpert at SF and have J.R replace Kidd at 2G. I see three upgrades right there in regards to players playing their natural position.

C: Kenyon Martin.
PF: Kurt Thomas.
SF: Steve Novak.
2G: Iman Shumpert.
PG: Pablo/Kidd.

Not a bad backup unit. Lots of defense too. That's until both Rasheed and Camby's ready to go. Then we can switch it up.

On a side note, I love what I seen out of Kenyon Martin (on the bench) last night. He never played, but he was into the game (mentally). Was talking with our players, getting up off the bench and showing support. Can't wait to see Martin take the court.

Fundamentals

Get the ball inside.

Knicks out scored Philly in the paint 50-32. Carmelo got to the free throw line to compensate for a mediocre shooting performance.

Get the ball inside?

We need just one more big man to perform stunts when Tyson Chandler is exhausted.

It ain't that deep.

ding, ding, ding...and the winner IS, MIGHTY MISTEREAL with the TKO

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I haven't called for it here but, I sure have been hoping for it. Start Amare at the 4, stop playing Melo at the 4, he is getting banged up and often in foul trouble when he goes up against the likes of David West and Blake Griffin. The the 2nd unit can be a defensive beast with Kmart at the4.

Shump needs to be told his production will determine his playing time. If he can' defend OR contribute on offensive then he has no business being on the floor.

Start Jr at the 2,...even is his shot isn't falling, he will still contribution on defensive and not be the liability that Kidd is.

Why is Novak being yanked in and out of the lineup. He's a shooter and shooters need to get a rhythm going. How he can get a rhythm going by playing 6minutes strait in the first quarter then, the rest of the game he's in for like 3 MINUTE INCREMENTS. By the time the announcers get ready to say his name, he's already being subbed back out.

White should be getting some of the minutes Kidd is getting.

Cool so in that case let Kidd continue to start even though he's shot and Shump play SF where he's playing horrible because that's not his position he's a 6'5 SG as well as he's not 100% yet. I guess nobody can have an opinion because coaches are not stubborn and don't make mistakes .

Woodson has his head in his ***

Mray20 and VCoug - please understand, there is a difference between sports opinion and making a remark designed to insult a persons intelligence. In this case, Mike Woodson. New rules. If you would not say it to his face, it is not suitable for adult discussion.

That also holds true for player insults.

It's called frustration , I like Woodson alot but his lineups are driving myself and other Knick fans crazy and this is becoming reminiscent in some ways of Dantoni who would refuse to change things even though it was very obvious because he was stubborn and wanted to do things his way.

Frustration

Mray20 - dude, homeskillet, brother from another mother... if Knicks basketball is frustrating you to the extent you must resort to insults, perhaps it is time to change the channel. Go for a walk. Chase a few skirts during lunch hour. Hug your kids. Breathe in some new air on another topic. Anything. If you expect perfection, or for them to always conform to your image of what a basketball team looks like, you are out of your freakiin' mind... because our beloved New York Knicks are always going to do something that makes you crazy.

Wait until the killer schedule starts in March. Then we will see who the real men are. Players and fans alike. Hell, if I can hold my head up to be a Knicks fan this Friday at MCI Center in DC, after nearly four decades of following "dese guys..."... (who, as the MSG usher taught me, "don't do nuttin da easy way") certainly you can hold your water for another month.

Are you not entertained?
