What does this team need to improve?

1. Youth. The NBA is an 82 game season and then long post-season. You need youth to keep fresh legs to withstand the rigors of the season and stay fresh.

2. Two-way (focused, non-lazy) players.

If we are keeping Tyson he needs a post game.

In no particular order:

1. A backup big man who can play capable post defense and rebound to play 20-25 mpg
2. If not a starting point guard then a backup. Kidd's obviously washed up and Prigioni sucks
3. A wing who can consistently hit open jumpers to punish teams doubling Melo and Amare. Kidd can't shoot, Felton's never been able to shoot, JR runs red-hot and ice-cold, and Shumpert has never shown the ability to shoot. If they're a capable defender all the better
4. A wing defender tall and heavy enough that we can reasonably believe they could defend the Lebron's and Durant's of the league without embarrassing themselves.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

offseason needs.

Big man(I can't think of any young ones) Maybe Sam. Dal. on a low low

Speed guard(draft or maybe Collison but not sure he is a pnr guard)

move wing( ala redick or korver) Korver will be cheaper. Dunleavy is out there too.

A lot of posters are big on Webster but he has been inconsistent throughout his career.

Webster can really shoot unlike JR

I remember when he came out of the draft people were saying his jumpshot is as smooth as H20's

He can shoot this year but look at him before this year. He is shooting great from 3 and has always been pretty good from there.

JR needs to have a focused off season. I would still sign him if the price is right. Webster might have turned the corner. who knows. More than likely the will trade for Dudley.

1. Younger role players. Since we are cap strapped...we need cheap players like aj price, dante cinningham and martell webster

2. Melo to be a legit superstar. Meaning a two way player.

3. Woody coaching adjustments. I wish they had the spurs asst coach (with the long name). He created their offense

4. Let JR go...hes to erratic and unpredictable

5. Get rid of these old players and scrubs on one yr contracts.

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

priority is to rid ourselves of amar'e, this becomes easier as the contract ticks down, next trade deadline is a good opportunity,

before time comes to jettison amar'e, we must cash in on shump and turn him into a decent point guard, someone in the mold of ridnour, someone that is not flashy and understands and accepts his role as a facilitator first and a scoring option only as a last option,

felton isn't it going forward, so another off season dawns where our priority is finding an adequate point guard, i have no idea why let jeremy lin walk when he could've been the franchise point guard for the next 10 years

Amare isnt going anyway until spring of 2014 earliest

Ray is signed to a 3yr contract and no one wants him

Were "stuck" with the core. The only thing i can ask for is younger/cheaper role players

2015 can't come soon enough but if Dolan still owns the team he will manage to screw everything up again

Brewer was supposed to be that wing defender. He did well on lebrons when he guarded him!

From a player perspective we need to add some youth at PG and Center (hopefully get 1 solved this draft) and add a combo forward who can effectively play off of Melo (Dudley, W Chandler, M williams, Josh Smith, etc.) I think we are fine with Felton, Shumpert, Melo, and Chandler longterm at 4 of the 5 starting positions, but we really need a forward that brings it all together.
