I thought it might be helpful to look at our numbers for each month since the start of the season.

In November we shot 45.8% from the field, 41.6% from 3, while scoring 102.6 ppg. Those numbers would be 9th, 1st, and 6th in the league today.

In December we shot 44.1% from the field, 37.1% from 3, while scoring 101.8 ppg. Those numbers would be 20th, 8th, and 7th today.

In January we shot 43.6% from the field, 36% from 3, while scoring 97 ppg. Those numbers would be 26th, 12th, and 17th today.

Finally, in February we've shot 43.3% from the field, 34.8% from 3, while scoring 97.3 ppg. That would rank 27th, 21st, and 14th today.

At the same time our assists/game have dropped from 20/game in Nov and Dec to 19.5/game in Jan and 18.3/game this month.

Our defensive rebounding has pretty much stayed the same, staying within about 1 reb/game of each other every month, but we're getting more offensive rebounds/game thanks mostly to missing more shots; 9.6/game in Nov, 11.1/game in Dec, 11.6/game in Jan, and 13.1/game in Feb.

Our steals/game have dropped every month from 9.2/game in Nov, 8.1/game in Dec, 7.3/game in Jan, and 7.1/game in Feb.

Our blocks/game have also dropped since Dec: 3.5/game in Nov, 4.2/game in Dec, 3.3/game in Jan, and 3.5/game in Feb.

Our opponents are also shooting better from the field. In November they shot 44.4% which would be tied for the 11th best number in the league. Since then, our opponents are shooting 46.6%, 46.8%, and 46% which would rank 26th, 28th, and 22nd. Oddly enough, we've actually improved our 3-point defense but, other than giving up 32.1% in Jan, the numbers are all bottom 10 in the League.

I could go on and on like this and include more advanced stats but I think everyone gets the picture at this point. Pretty much every facet of the game has falling off from the beginning of the season. Our offense and defense are getting worse with every passing month and no amount of wishing for Sheed to save our season is going to fix all those problems.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Good stuff. These stats correlate well with the won loss record.
