this team badly needs a shake up. we have no edge, no fight.

kidd is simply too old to play this much. we need to limit his minutes in the next few weeks to give him some extra rest before the stretch run. the guy's just got too many miles on the tires.

felton has been brutal. maybe his finger is still affecting him, but for the month of february he's a 13 point 5 assist 3 turnover point guard who brings 0 to the table defensively (lowry had 7 ast/0 to tonight).

both of these guys need to take a seat. start prigioni for felton. prigioni at least brings energy on the defensive side, he sets up guys just as well, he can hit the open shot, he plays under way more control. i'd also move copeland back into the starting 5 at small forward. shump is still not at full strength, lets at least play him at his natural position. copeland brings energy, he's averaged 14/5 in starts, and he gives us a nice size advantage in the front court.

this is a veteran team, i don't think its necessarily going to rock the boat to move guys around. play felton 25 minutes off the bench instead of 34 minutes as a starter. bump kidd's minutes down to 15 for the next month just to conserve a guy a bit -- i have a feeling if he knew he was gonna play only half the time we'd get a lot more out of him in the minutes we do play him.

oh yeah, if MELO wants to be considered a top 5 player, maybe he could figure his game out and stat hitting some shots. jeez louise, he's 3-20 from 3 in his last 3 games.

I'm waiting for the accountability that Woodson talked about.

People talking about woodson are just making an excuse. The honest reality is this team is not a great team. We started off hot and it was like a fake positive--put false expectations on everyone.

Reality

team needs a backcourt rebuild imho jr smith kidd prigioni out. and sorry shumpert better show up in the next 30. Right now he would be a d league reject.

Secondly we need an infusion of youth. 2-3 players under the age of 24 who can grow as the next core. This team is not as good as the Nuggets with melo at 25-26 its just not. We were better of keeping Gallo and building that team we paid a ransom for a 1st round playoff team. Next time we wont be paying amare stoudemire 1 year for 100mm

Well said Briggs, though I think Shump just needs time.

Your expectations are unrealistic considering who the owner is.

We had one good GM in over a decade and he was run out of town by Dolan. Now that same GM is kicking our ass with a better team in Indiana.

Look who the GM and coach are...two puppets hired by Dolan who are part of the Isiah Thomas Country Club. It's the same old, same old with this team. Dolan wants a lap dog as a GM. He cares more about power and control than winning. Look how much effort he puts into avoiding the media. If only he put half that effort into putting a good team on the floor.

While I agree about the guard play and the youth, as long as Dolan is running this franchise we will always be mediocre to awful.
