That's why the Knicks should trade the rights to Nivens? for O'neal. My plan would be like yours get O'neal, Webster, and sign Greene as a FA. He is basically a younger Copeland although cope is the top rated PnR roll man ppp wise. Unfortunately they will stay pat.

Doesn't really matter. This team will lose in 4-5 games to the Heat anyway. Our best bet is somehow Indy or Chicago Knocks them off first. Then again Indy and Chicago would beat the Knicks in 4-5 games as well

I just saw that. The pool of vet big men is drying up. Also, I think if its Knicks/Heat KMart goes for the Heat. Better weather, better chance of a championship and I believe there are different tax laws. Hopefully the Knicks can land O'Neal.

Heat give up the 2nd rounder in the deal, receive a trade exception.

The Miami Heat have agreed to send forward Dexter Pittman and a second-round pick to the Grizzlies for a trade exception, NBA sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The Grizzlies will get Miami's 2013 second-round pick in the trade.

Pittman has appeared in only four games for the Heat this season.

Why couldn't we do something like this? Future 2nd rounder if we have any left for a trade exemption

or does it have to be a 2nd rounder in this year's draft?
