This metric concerns STANDING TALL AND TALENTED...

If it isn't him and it isn't Melo(most would say it obviously isn't him as he was playing at an MVP caliber level prior to), although Melo's numbers are descending rapidly and Amar'e has played relatively decent not spectacular by any means. So what's the PROBLEMO?

This team has become complacent to the point they can't seem to go back to even play decent basketball.

It's not the presence of STAT IMO. This team hasn't been playing any D for a while and it's at all positions. This team has been around 20th in the league on D for much of the season. They had a short stint where they were really playing great D, but that fell off and most of the wins were due to playing elite level offense. Now the team isn't even playing great efficient offense either.

The ball is sticking. The floor isn't spaced. Guys are getting in each others way. There's no flow or purpose to the movement on offense. On D we get killed on the perimeter. We just can't stop anyone right now. If there's one area that STAT doesn't help it's on D, but even there it's not as bad as he was in the past. Melo hasn't been anywhere close to what he was on D the last month of last season. Kidd can't keep anyone in front of him and neither can Felton for some reason. I could go on and on, but you get the idea.

So we just all of a sudden fell into these patterns although we're supposed to be a CONTENDING team?

Like I said at the beginning of the season, this team will go as far as the 3 headed PG monster will take them. The problem right now is the PG position.

I agree. We are getting nothing out of the PG position. Hopefully Felton will lead the team and get them to move without the ball and move the ball. That may be asking too much of Raymond & Woodson

I can agree with point guard play. Anyone notice how the Team Technicals continue to mount as the season progresses.... but let's keep it real

Melo/Amar'e/Chandler simply aren't a good mix and we've had enough games to know this by now. Really it was known well in advance that Melo and Amar'e would never be a good mix.

Look can they play well in 5-10 min stretches here and there....Yes they can but conceptually and execution wise they can't be on the same team and expect glorious results...

Now as "TOMORROW COMES" we get our feelings hurt because reality amareISREAL

We probably need to make a trade somehow to break them up and I could care less which ones goes, would love for both of them to get traded. Ironic enough Father Figure says to the media along with Melo "NO TRADES" yet we appear to be trying to swing deals.

Contending team to whom? Any NBA team that feature JR and Felton as your second and third best offensive option IS NOT A CONTENDING TEAM sorry, many times I wonder why those guys usually take more shots than STAT and why the Knicks don’t run many plays for him.
