Amar'e Shump Novak JR Smith maximize potential of MDA team, this is what you hired him to do, this is his roster now to a T, and you're all in on the stack of chips,

you choose one thing, you carry it to the fullest; Knicks starphuck ULTIMATE and Lakers go ULTIMATE MDA,

Amar'e has gas in the tank and the Lakeshows is the only team that can eat the contract, only 3 more years anyway and at 29 or 30 years old, Amar'e is the young man of the crowd,

Shump gives them the lockdown, perimeter defender that will hold the top players in check which is the backbone of the MDA defense, this guy will put the foot down without needing heavy team defense coaching, the rogue defender that doesn't need to be told how to play D, just how MDA likes it,

Amar'e played well limited time with Knicks, they're cautious and he's been efficient, effective and even showing slam dunks with decent thunder,

There's a good shot that he can come back and play 32 minutes per game for Lakeshows and do well with it, probably 80% you get a beaset Amar'e that surprises people with his form in the MDA system,

the MDA system heals the soul of a player like Amar'e, it will be sunshine for him

the thing is that the Lakers Knicks trade here makes sense for both teams and they can instantly fix a lot of problems for themselves with one collaborative move,

it's win win from where I'm sitting, with a little bit of risk from both sides

Almost positive KG lives in LA and I doubt he'd retire if he accepted a deal to go to a squad w/ Nash, Kobe, Pau, Ron and Rondo for 2013-14.
