24-8

Don't think we can catch miami, actually I don't even mind finishing 2nd.
Cant remember a one seed winning it all in quite some time...

My prayers to god...please help melo understand how to play like a champion..shooting 10 for 29 is a loser mentality.

Rasheed get well soon, we need you for 18 strong mins a night.

Kidd please find your shot,

Woodson, wake the hell up, your slipping and you will be fired if you continue with the iso's and playing kidd all those min and his #s are brutal..

Those are my keys to getting to the finals..

I predict 18-14, considering our schedule. Oddly, this seems to be exactly where I had this team, hovering around 50 wins. After the impressive start, that would be a major disappointment.

55 wins would take 23-9. Almost definitely not getting to 55.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I'll be happy with a 6th seed finish

yes....these last few years have ruined me.

Sorry. I can't. If we're not good enough this season to secure a top 4 with Boston losing two guards for the season, Chicago not having Derrick Rose for most/all of the season, Pacers without Granger, Brooklyn without Lopez part of the season and a not 100% Deron Williams, the Hawks trying to dismantle their team and Carmelo Anthony having his best professional season EVER, then we really need to blow this thing up. This team is not getting younger, so whatever the upside is, it's this season and next. It can only go downhill from there. In other words, no more excuses.

Yup. This team has a 2 year window and that could be stretching it.

Agreed. No excuses. ECF+ or blow it up

My expectation of a strong second-round showing hasn't changed, but I think the team can make the conference finals. I look for 21-11, a win total in the low 50's.

If we drop out in the first round again, I think the entire team aside from Melo is up for grabs. That includes Chandler. I'm not sure certain guys like Amar'e are untradeable; just depends on what you want to take back. My patience with this team got spent when they started mailing in games recently. Effort every night or bust.

18-14 is realistic. if they rededicate themselves to defense they have a crack at 52 wins. the key is maintaining the second seed. if they slip to 3rd or lower the chance of reaching ECF grow much slimmer.

that mid-march road trip is going to be rough seas.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

14-18. Schedule gets harder from here on in. Lots of teams above .500, lots of back to backs. Even with our relatively easy schedule, we've been playing around .500 since the hot start.

Can we go 24-8? Without question we can. It's all about our first 10 games after the all-star break. Go at least 8-2 and there's no reason why we can't finish at least 16-6 during our final 26 games. Maybe even stronger.

@ Indiana.
@ Toronto.
vs. Philadelphia.
vs. Golden State.
@ Washington.
vs. Heat.
@ Cleveland.
@ Detroit.
vs. Oklahoma City.
vs. Jazz.

I believe we'll get it done against Indy tomorrow night, but the blessing about our first 10 games coming out of the break? Games against Golden State, Miami, OKC and Utah are all home games. We all know we're without Camby and Rasheed but we've gone 32-18 despite the fact that we've been without the likes of Kidd for 5 games, Melo for 7 games, Felton for 12 games, Kurt for 20 games, Stoudemire for 30 games and Shumpert for 37 games. Which is why all of this schedule being tough talk is overrated. Coming out of the break we're healthier than we've been during the entire season.

I believe we're about to put on a strong postseason push now that we've not only rested during all-star weekend but also as healthy as we've ever been minus Rasheed and Camby.

Dangerous to play the W-L schedule game. We should've done much better than we did before the break. They just have to play hard every night and realize every crappy loss can mean the difference between havin someone like ATL and Mil in the first round or a team like Ind, Bklyn or Chi.

Very dangerous. They played the win/loss game before the break, even the coach, and failed miserably

No way we go 24-8, I outlined this in the "Bad news: playoffs picture..." thread,

Here I will recap for you:

Knicks have by FAR the most difficult schedule in the second half of season out of all playoffs teams, this includes 19 games against teams over 500 with 11 of those AWAY, also, our games against teams under 500, 8 are away versus 5 at home,

so not only are we playing most games away, but we have 19 games against winning teams,

miami has 14 games left against over-500 teams and they're split 7 at home and 7 away,

this means two things:

Knicks have had the EASIEST road in first half of season out of any playoffs team, and,

Miami has had the TOUGHEST road in first half of season out of any playoffs team,

We're 32-18 after our EASY stretch,

24-8 over our HARD stretch is unthinkable!

We go 18-14 IF WE'RE VERY LUCKY!!

BOTTOM LINE, AND THIS MIGHT BE A SHOCKER FOR SOME PEOPLE HERE, IS THAT WE CAN BE A SUB-5O WIN TEAM THIS YEAR, VERY REALISTIC.

18-14 i think the team will benefit from the team finally getting healthier
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I think 20-12 is reasonable.

It all depends on us. I think will go .650 the rest of the way.
