Figured I'd make a thread for tonight's events. Everything gets started at 8:30 with the Shooting Stars competition. Last year Allan Houston, Landry Fields, and someone from the WNBA won. This year, it looks like they changed up how the teams work and there's no one from the Knicks playing anyway. Honestly, there's a reason this is the first even of the day, it's stupid and it sucks.

Next up is the Skills Competition which is pretty goofy but I always enjoy. No Knicks taking part this year and, off the top of my head, I can't think of any Knicks who have ever played in this one. That probably means something. Tony Parker won last year and he's going against Jrue Holiday, Brandon Knight (what?!), Jeff Teague, Damian Lillard, and Jeremy L... umm, I think I'm going to stop talking about this one now.

Next up is the 3-point Shootout and we finally have a Knick to root for! Steve Novak goes up against Paul George, Kyrie Irving, Ryan Anderson, Matt Bonner, and Stephen Curry. Hopefully, Novak doesn't confuse the ball rack with Nate Robinson and he'll shoot the ball instead of passing it even if he's guarded by a tall middle schooler. Go Novak!

Finally, there's the Dunk Contest. We've got another Knick to root for in James White! He'll be competing against Eric Bledsoe, Jeremy Evans, Kenneth Faried, Gerald Green, and Terrence Ross. Kind of an odd lineup so I'm not sure what to expect there. Unfortunately, James White has apparently not been practicing for this,

Trey Kerby: Just talked to James White's agent. He said that no only has Flight not practiced for the contest, but that he refuses to practice. Twitter @treykerby
so I'm not sure that we should be getting our hopes up. If only we still had Nate Robinson, he always cared about fairly meaningless competitions in the middle of the season. Anyway, go "Flight" White! Hopefully, we'll be seeing some Knicks bringing back some trophies after this weekend.

I know absolutely nothing about her but I'm rooting for Swin Cash. That is, by far, one of the greatest names I've ever seen.

Thanks...due to having to look for a TNT channel stream I had to find a whole new streaming site, since FirstRow only had the D-League All-star game....finaly found it the stream I was looking for, even though the interesting part hasn't started yet :)

This shooting stars is set up....West is full shooting guards and the East are centers and forwards...smh

no problem. But, I'm pretty sure that TNT live streams all of their NBA coverage on their website. Just for future reference.

Simple, not too tacky and generaly nice.
And it's especialy nice when you compare it with the type of sh1t people like Westbrook walk around in.

Neither do I.
I mean, the 2 best scoring players (whatever competition) should go to the finals, not 1 from each conference.
It's especialy wrong in regards to the dunk contest.

It's not terrible but it's not great either. Both his shirt and his jacket have a leather top and a fabric bottom which is really weird. Nowhere nearly as bad as whatever the **** Wade is wearing.
