Notice how Melo plays decoy and feeds to unhearalded Brewer who no one is guarding, not at the 3 pt line but leaving there and cutting towards the basket. And later he feeds Tyson as he himself draws the defense to himself. This is how Melo makes his teammates better.

Brewer plays well when we pass the ball to cutters because everybody forgets about him.

Notice Miami can't defend as well becuse of role guys making plays passing the ball to moving teammates. This is all that's lacking on the knicks.

Notice Sheed is our only wide body that can etch out space because of his size. Also look how natural Prigioni plays when the ball isn't stagnant and he does was natural when the basket isn't protected. Now on the Novack3 from the corner , not too many would have passed up a layup like Brewer did to find the open man, this is how Brewerplayed in Utah and Chicago.

THIS IS WHEN THE KNICKS ARE PLAYING THE RIGHT WAY REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE OPPOSING TEAMS ARE DOING.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

i disagree with you on the Brewer plays well when passed on cuts. He used to but this year he lacks the explosion he used to have and usually is scared to shoot so he turns into Pablo's bigger brother from another mother.

If our stars shooting the ball(Melo - Amare- JR Smith) understood that them playing a decoy role at times makes players like Brewer Copeland would make our team indefensible.
The plays where you see Melo play the right way by drawing defenders and then dishing off to a cutting brewer or another role player , that's when we become a better team instead of him or Amare forcing shots when double and tripled teamed .

I don't know if we are talking IQ or not , but out of the 3 they collectively only had 1 year of learning the game in college.

Miami can't guard the ball because the knicks are getting open looks because they force Miami to defend when the ball isn't stagnant. Just watch and see for yourself. Notice the role players like Novack, White , Brewer and Wallace on the court in these clips, not players who don't move the ball.

The clip above shows why the knicks haven't been playing smart, but dumb basketball lately.

i am actually wondering if we are better with brewer on the floor as opposed to shumpert. he still hasn't had that breakout game yet and if he needs to get more strength and flexibility back in his knee, then why force him into the starting lineup.
Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Brewer is a team player, the teams he previously played with Utah and Chicago stresses ball movement.

Why do you think he looks lost out there THE BALL ISN'T MOVING ! He plays 1000 times better along with Kidd when the ball is moving like a hot potatoe.

If you guys would watch the clips, just notice who's on the court and who's not and how the ball gets around so much smoother.

It doesn't take a well paid NBA COACH to see the synergy that veteran role players bring to the team. They know how the game should be played and the opposing teams were shocked the knicks weren't just playing ISO ball. Watch all the clips and judge for yourselves and give me your opinion.

probably there is some conspiracy, jr smith was not the only shooter on many of those clips, there had to be a second shooter but now they are hiding him

These videos on the knicks shows the knicks strengths and the tream work it takes for this team to play successful in the 2nd half of the season. Woody needs to show his players these clips and show them what they are capable of if guys go back to moving the ball and allow role players to stay active and alleviate some of the pressure off our big guns.

Now just turn down the music and watch the clips as if you were re-veiwing tape as a coach.

Do you see what I see ?

So does anybody besides me think the knicks can play like this again ?
