Kobe is an arrogant guy. He is on trial for rape and he desides to make an anouncement that he's gonna test the free agent waters.
For a while he's been saying he needs to win with his own team and get out of Shaqs shadow. The triangle doesn't work for him cuz he wants to do his thing. He's ****y.

This is what makes him closer to being a Knick than Sheed. Kobe wants to start a new legacy and lead a team to the championship and bang his chest and say he did that. He's already signed a max with LA and had the endorsements. Kobe's ego wants to shine.

The 5 mill exemption isn't what would make him a Knick it's the Garden. The worlds most famous arena for the world's most ****iest individual.

now spree, with all that being said, do you still want Kobe to be a knick, now don't get me wrong, I would love to see him in a Knick uni, running with steph, but with his huge ego looming do you think he would work with steph?

Kobe can get like 19 mil a year, or mid level to play in the garden.

Dampier is a better than average center in todays NBA....so he's closer to being a Knick than Kobe.


The purpose of my post is to stop all the Sheed talk cuz what makes anybody thing Sheed is gonna leave a team like Detroit with a potential max deal for NY to struggle with NY's team for 5 mill?

Kobe would do it before Sheed simply because Kobe is a jerk.

I'm not saying that I want Kobe. I'm saying the chances of him signing for the exemption is better.

at least there are sign and trade options with Sheed, if thats what Zeke wants.. .but there's none for Kobe.

I started this thread to stop nuckleheads from saying Sheed will be a Knick.

I don't think either one could, would, or Should be Knicks!!!!

But Kobe is closer that Sheed would be.

You have got to be kidding wanting iverson over kobe. Its not even close, kobe blows him away.Kobe is not coming here but he is a far superior player.
