His team is still leading the NBA, if he doesn't get injured, he'll get the MVP.

Our Knicks are 28-11 during games in which Melo has played. That's a winning percentage of .718.

Melo is without question, in the running for MVP.

Not to take anything away from LeBron and Durant, but LeBron has had both Wade and Bosh. Durant has had Westbrook who's averaging 22.6 points, 8.2 assists, 5.3 boards and 1.9 steals per game.

Melo? He's led the way for a Knicks team in which has been injured throughout the entire season. But yet, our Knicks are 28-11 during games in which Melo has played (and led the way) while being 1/2 a game away from the third best record in all of basketball.

Melo may not win the MVP award, but if our Knicks finish with the 1st or 2nd best record in all of basketball? And Melo ranks top 2 in scoring? He'll be in the running when it's all said and done.

I know this is a figurative cluster....but it is amazing how he consistently expands and picks his spots on the floor.

There's nothing you can take away from those 2 no matter how much you stomp your feet into the ground Gangum Tantrum Style.

It's a fail what you're trying to do when you make the statement against such players who are once again having HISTORICAL seasons. What they are on pace to do has never been done in the NBA ever. Do you appreciate History or not?

If you flipped their productivity this year(Melo doing what they are doing regardless of who he's playing with) and someone posted what you posted above.... you'd throw a conniption fit, pull all your hairs out, and gnash your denta la grills.

Not to mention Lebron has already proven he can carry teams for the majority of his career without playing next to All-Star or Max Player talent in Cleveland and last year with injuries to Wade and Bosh. One could argue Durant plays in a much tougher conference and if he wasn't playing with such a chucker maybe he'd be averaging like 35ppg or even 40ppg.

You are the biggest Melo Homer known to all of mankind

I bet if Lebron had a ****ty supporting cast in his first nine years, he would have been much less productive. Wait a minute...never-mind.

he's finishing at the rim a lot more and has really worked on that top of the key three-- i personally always found that one the hardest to convert.

you can also clearly see that he came into the league favoring the right side probably as a part of being right handed but now he is shooting almost equally from the left side, so he must have been improving his left hand and his footwork all the while.

he is amazing. all he needs to do is keep improving his playmaking and assists and he will end up a top-ten all-time great.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Kind of odd he doesn't utilize the corner 3 more too. But from the chart you can see his balance. Really incredible.

As I stated, Melo is without question in the running for MVP. Magic Johnson just stated during our Knicks vs. Wizards game that it's 1-2 between Durant and Melo with LeBron a close third. Also stated that it's fair to lump all three in Durant, Melo and LeBron together.

Head shot.
