I know they said 2-4 weeks but we all know when it comes to camby it will always be longer because of his injury history. Tyson has been playing great this year but we need to start getting him some rest in march/april so he will be ready for the playoff run. Hopefully Camby will be durable for once when/if he returns

Last I heard he was behind schedule (no surprise) and definitely won't be back before the All star break- hasn't even been cleared for practice yet. His injury is a very annoying one because Plantar facistis (can never remember how you spell it) lasts and lasts and keeps coming back just when you think it's gone. Joakim Noah has just been diagnosed with it too, which could put a huge dampener on Chicago's chances.

We just need Camby for the playoffs. I'm fine with waiting till he is 100%.

Problem is that we dont even know if we will be healthy in the playoffs. I mean like i said he is not very durable and even when he returns from injuries he doesnt last long before going down again

I cling to the hope that in his first stint with us, he had the same thing and managed to play through it- he didn't even remember having it when Berman pointed it out a month or so ago.

Also I don't think we need Camby and Sheed- we just need one of them (obviously that changes if Tyson or Amar'e get injured). I suppose if no one signs K-Mart, he's our back up plan if neither of those two can make it back. Hopefully it won't come to that- I like Camby and Sheed and I'd like to see them back and contributing.

Thats a fair point but Camby was in his mid 20's during that time now he is 38 so its different

We need both Camby and Sheed. It allows Woodson to give them each enough minutes to go all out and at the same time keeps their minutes in check. Stat is doing a better job on the boards, but Chandler's been the lone big man in the paint for the most part, for some time. Tyson needs all the help he can get and its important to keep Chandler healthy as well.

In limited minutes Camby should be ok if he isn't brought back too soon.

I'd wait on Camby until end of March, and then go.
