![]() His shot has been off...But he has to mix it up a bit...I would like to see him fit his game around what Amare does...Allow Amare and Chandler to roam the middle and have him play his in and out game...But yeah I do agree that I would like to see him go hard to the hole and get to the line...Chandler has to look for his offense more in the middle as well..

![]() in the past he has gone hard to the hole but always looking to draw contact & get the call but alot of Refs seem to let players foul him & then he's left in a vulnerable position which often results in his getting his shot blocked. However when he goes to the basket looking to dunk, I think people forget that he has hops & then they are the ones left getting embarrassed. Also, when people respect his driving ability it totally opens up his mid-range game Win/Win

![]() I would like to see him play a more judicious game...Let Felton, Chandler and Amare work on their games and get in the flow of things...I don't think he needs to carry us as much as he did earlier in the season...Allowing Amare to regain his confidence will help us down the road...Then after the all star break, sure up the defense and create an offensive identity...
But I think opponent fear Melo's all around game...I would like to see him get more calls tho..Woody needs to be more of a prick with the league and the refs about this... |

![]() yes he is dunking more but more importantly he is driving to the hoop which is what we want to see. For the past few weeks he has been settling for three's but now he is starting to mix it up which we need. In the beginning of the year our threes were going down but now they arent so we need to get more looks to the hoop

![]() Melo can feast and power dunk down low at will, but as a Knicks fan and Melo supporter? I'm glad he doesn't try and posterize during his layups that could've been dunks. Dunking with so much power can include/add lots of wear and tear on the body over a long period of time. Melo's a smooth scorer, not a power dunker. Which is what I love about Melo. The smoothness of his overall game.

Not to mention that tonight he only played 27 minutes and outside of the East/West All-Star game he's about to enjoy a nice little break from the 13th after Toronto's game until the 20th heading into Indy's game. His minutes shouldn't be a concern as of right now. He's only 28 years of age and playing some of the greatest basketball he's ever played. If Melo's minutes per game is a concern to the Knicks, then Deng, Durant, Batum, Bryant, LeBron, Noah, Lillard, Holiday, Harden and Aldridge should all be concern moving forward as well, because all of the above have averaged more minutes per game when compared to Melo here in 2012-2013. Just my take. |

Melo is having an amazing season but earlier in the year he was having amazing first quarters and setting the tone for the game. He still is extremely hard to handle it he isn't coming out unstoppable in the first quarter anymore. He has been asked to do a lot while the Knicks overcame injuries. They're starting to now as we saw last night. If they can keep it up I could see Woodson cutting down on Melo's minutes a little. |
