Hilarious. Deke staying busy lately, just recently voiced that gem of a game for Old Spice: "Dikembe Mutombo's 4 1/2 weeks to save the world"

Yeah. He played the game with such love and also had a one of a kind personality. Always considered him the gentile giant of the 90's era Centers. Him giving you the finger after a block wasn't to show the next player out, but instead, a player who had a deep pride for contesting/blocking shots.

Just thinking about Dikembe Mutombo gives flash backs of our Centers of the 90's in regards to Hakeem, Ewing, Robinson, Mutombo, Smits, Daugherty, Vlade Divac, Shaquille O’Neal, Mourning and even the likes of and Rony Seikaly and Luc Longley put in hard work down low. Memories of the 90's. When basketball was truthfully a war zone down inside the paint.

When I heard/read the news about the NBA removing the Center position, it was disheartening due to the simple fact that I grew up throughout the entire 90's, having so much respect for so many of our Center's that our era produced. Tyson Chandler becoming our first All-Star at the Center position since Patrick Ewing is something to smile about.

That was awesome and hilarious. I love Dikembe. I wish we could've had him for a longer stint of his career.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

No. It was KVH and Doleac for Tim Thomas and Nazr. We traded Deke for Crawful.

Btw, does anyone have the link to the Mutombo game? I never played it and looks like the original link is dead.
