Kurt Thomas
James White
Ronnie Brewer
Chris Copeland

I just don't think we need all of these guys on our roster, especially so many old centers
Would like to stock up on some younger legs to keep our older veterans FRESH for play offs while keeping a 1st or 2nd seed for home court advantage, more importantly, avoiding Heat/Bulls if possible

Both Chris Johnson and Mickael Gelabale have been signed to a couple of 10 day contracts but should keep an eye on

Chris Johnson
Position: PF/C
Height: 6-11
Weight: 210
Born: Jul 17, 1985

His shot blocking/DEF/rebounding athleticism, young legs, and ability to run the floor would surely help our DEFENSE with our injured PF/C's

Mickael Gelabale
Position: SF
Height: 6-7
Weight: 215

A more mobile F than Copeland that can shoot the ball and with a better handle at the SF position

Kenyon Martin
Position: PF

Height: 6-9
Weight: 240
Born: Dec 30, 1977

For some reason, Kenyon Martin's highlights of last year's season has been removed, nothing really left, this is from his Denver days but I watched him play last year on the Clippers and he still has athleticism, can play good D, set's good screens, makes good cuts, can hit the 12 footer, but cannot find a team
I really hope Martin does not sign with Lakers, especially since they have a 1.8m exemption now due to Jordan Hill's injury
We should at least give him a trial run with a 10day contract if he really wants to be in NY

Jannero Pargo
Position: Point Guard
Height: 6-1
Weight: 185
Born: Oct 22, 1979

A true journeyman veteran back up/2nd/3rd string PG that would fit in with what Woodson likes with experience/DEF and some speed/quickness/ability to penetrate/facilitate
He can hit the wide open 3point shot and looks to set up team mates first, was part of the Bull's roster before and is just know's how to play TEAM Ball with discipline
Not sure if he ever was played for Woodson in Atlanta

Jeremy Pargo
Position: PG
Height: 6-2
Weight: 219
Born: Mar 7, 1986

Younger brother of Jannero Pargo, although I think Jannero fits with our roster better, as he know's his role as a journeyman
Filled in quite nicely for Irving/Waiters when they were injured, is a FA as he was waived by Cleveland
Of course Jeremy has better physical abilities with his age

I saw a d-league article that mentioned Josh Boone. I really liked Boone when he played for the Nets. I think when looking for additions to the Knicks you have to think vets. Boone played all three front court positions when he played for the Nets,

I think Kurt is really valuable in his role. If you get rid of him and put a marginal rookie in that spot he probably doesn't play and Woodson wouldn't be comfortable giving him minutes in the playoffs. I think Woodson has total faith in Kurt if he needs him. Kurt just needs to be ready. Also, can't believe how far Brewer has fallen. Can't believe he is the same guy that started in November and part of December.

I disagree Kurt was really valuable 2yrs ago. At 40 he is a good practice player. Set a tone in practice and keep things competitive. That is evident to me by the lack of playing time he is seeing despite Sheed and Camby being out

He always looks good when he plays. Also, Kurt is a bright guy and I think he was a coach on the Mavs for a year when his ankles were so bad he couldn't play. You could have a Jerome Jordan or Henry Simms on the end of the bench but if you needed someone to go into a playoff game because guys are in foul trouble or injured then I want Kurt.

I still think K-mart would be a good pick up for the front line. Other than that, Priggy has picked up his scoring and if he can keep doing that, he is a good back up point.

Please dont forget dante cunninghm
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
