Friday Night Knicks

Jennings always scares me especially with PG's torching us lately

Monte Ellis Yikes

Let's see if Knicks can top the 30 team assists vs Orlando

Scary game but Knicks win 111-99

This should become a Knicks win going away. Last time we played the Bucks we took care of these guys by the score of 102-88. This was @ Milwaukee too. This time we'll get these guys at M.S.G, where we're 16-6 at home when compared to Milwaukee who's 12-10 on the road.

Also, last time out against these Bucks we were without Kidd, Shumpert and Stoudemire. This won't be the case come Friday Night. We know both Shumpert and Stoudemire are locks to play while Jason Kidd should also make his return back into the rotation. As of right now Kidd is going to be re-evaluated Thursday, and is expected to play Friday against the Bucks.

Speaking of J-Kidd, I wouldn't mind seeing our coaching staff shut him down until (right after) the All-Star break. That would give Kidd from now until February 20th to heal up his back. Another 20 days of rehab, rest and recovery. Kidd would then only miss 7 games before returning against the Pacers come the 20th of February. But with all that said, if Jason Kidd does play come Friday against the Bucks, this would then become our first night in which we've featured our core nucleus of Raymond Felton, Iman Shumpert, Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler, J.R Smith, Jason Kidd and Steve Novak during the same game and/or on the same court together.

That's our 8 man core nucleus right there. Then we'll also have guys such as Pablo Prigioni, Chris Copeland, James White, Ronnie Brewer and Kurt Thomas ready to come off the bench as our 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th men off the bench.

We're 13 games above .500 at 28-15 overall, but you know what's scary? We're just getting started. We haven't came close to seeing our full potential and/or max ability here in 2012-2013. We're just now returning the likes of Felton, Shumpert and Stoudemire while Kidd, Camby and Rasheed are still recovering. Sky is the limit for this Knicks team.

Yessir. Most of us knew it was coming too. Worked out with Hakeem during the entire offseason. Was focused on nothing but basketball. And Amar'e was amazing (talent/athletic wise) during his first and only preseason game here in 2012-2013. Then he suffered a fluke injury and had to have a cyst removed. Grain of salt in the grand scheme of things.

Despite the fact that we've seen negative critics and/or non believer in Amar'e state that he's finished, he'll never become what he once was, he'll never average anything over 25+ minutes per game and/or will never become a starter again etc, etc he's currently averaging 23.6 minutes per game over the past 10 games. And he's only 13 games into the regular season.

By the time another 39 games go by, Amar'e Stoudemire will without question A.) Become our starter heading into the postseason and B.) Average over 30 minutes per game come postseason play. It's great to see Amar'e not only fitting in, but also putting up solid numbers. Currently averaging 12.7 points off .553 shooting from the field, 4.3 boards and 0.7 blocks per game. Off the bench too. Can't wait for and/or until Stoudemire becomes our full time starter at the PF position (moving forward). He's currently ranked 3rd on our team in regards to Player Efficiency Rating.

C: Tyson Chandler.
PF: Amar'e Stoudemire.
SF: Carmelo Anthony.
2G: Iman Shumpert.
PG: Raymond Felton.

If we can stay healthy? That's our starting five come postseason play.

C: Marcus Camby.
PF: Rasheed Wallace.
SF: Steve Novak.
2G: J.R Smith.
PG: Jason Kidd.

That would then become a dream backup unit come postseason play (if healthy).

We could then have Pablo Prigioni and Ronnie Brewer as 11th and 12th men off the bench with either Copeland or Thomas as our 13th man off the bench come postseason play.

We're almost there. It's been a long time coming but we're Kidd (probable), Rasheed and Camby away from being 100% full strength.

I would make a few changes in the 2nd unit.

I would have : C Marcus Camby
PF Rasheed Wallace
SF J R Smith
SG Jason Kidd
PG Pablo Prigioni

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Bucks tend to play hard. I expect a win but, not an easy one.
Knicks need to get back to building that wall against penetration or, this could become a very long game.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Jennings is going to light us up.

Bucks are garbage yet they find ways to win.

I seriously doubt this. Shumpert will cover Jennings if there are signs of this happening.

I haven't been impressed with Shump's D so far, but I'll also give him time to get to form.

Yeah hes not yet back to being the person we can assign to lock guys up. Hes a step slow laterally
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

He's made a few dumb mistakes from overplaying. Now he is playing out of position at SF as well. Honestly I'm surprised how good he looks. Ricky Rubio's progression has been a lot slower. Shump won't be close to 100% until the playoffs or even next year

But Jennings is not the fastest guy on the court either.

Woody had been quoted in some rag story somewhere that he wouldn't be throwing Shump out as the defensive stopper we know and love right off the bat.
ACL. The thing takes time.

I'm hoping this conservative approach pays off with Shump at 100% come playoff time.

This is going to be a tough game. Need to keep in front of Jennings and Ellis. Don't leave Knick Killer alone at the 3.
