Yea it makes no sense but I don't see Woodson changing his defensive philosophy mid season. Wonder why they didn't go back to some zone. Would like to see more Zone and pressure D on the PG. What we are doing now just doesn't make any sense. Sheed returning is not going to keep opposing pgs from blowing past our pgs

I loved the zone - maybe he is saving it for the playoffs.

I thought Felton was supposed to help with our PG defense?

I don't get why we didn't play zone against Miami last year. Dallas beat Miami with Zone and we have Tyson. Made no sense. Woodson can be a little to stubborn. This stretch of abysmal defense is mind boggling. At least the offense seems to be fixed in a big way

I have complained about this numerous times.

Its like tom coughlin refusing to go no huddle.

The Knicks started to throw traps and doubles at Jameer who was killing us. Other than that, who did we really double last night. Maybe Big Baby once.

The reason why our defense sucks is because of exactly this. We cannot stop opposing PGs from running around screens. Chocolate boy needs to get over screens with gusto. It has to be a mix of that AND doubling the PG till they give it up and then the person on defense who was doubling has to rotate back to your man.

I think this is what we were doing at the beginning of the season and we have gotten away from that.
