He's not listed on any draft sites but he looks like a guy who could come out this year and go into round 1.

Well then, it looks like the Westchester Knicks have 4 players to consider for the final roster spot

There's Jimmer, Atkins, Trice and Bachynski. Both Jimmer and Bachynski are 26 years old so it's now of never as far as them making it to the NBA. I would rather see the Knicks stay young for the 15th roster spot and give it to either Trice or Atkins if there are no better options coming off the waiver wire or the D League showcase. If I had to choose one player, I would go with Trice. he looks like a good option for 3rd PG.

Preferably, I'd rather see the Knicks waive Sasha and bring up Trice and Atkins. As a reserve big, Almundson is likely to get playing time over Bachynski so we don't really need him unless you think he has proven to be a better option over O'Quinn or Seraphin.

I don't know if the Knicks bring Bachynski up without a trade first of a big. Someone else might sign him though. I think Sasha is needed for KP. They seem to be very close and Sasha has been called KP's mentor.

Makes sense, I only bring it up as Sasha doesn't look to be a player we would sign next season. I think we have interest in Trice and Atkins having signed them to guaranteed contracts and then waiving them. An obvious move to get them onto the D League roster. They have both played well enough that that interest in retaining them should still be there. In other words, I think they have passed the audition and I wouldn't want to lose one of them since we don't have rosters spots for both.

Hernangomez has to get a look, for a spot on the team if he does come over.

Would love to see Trice playing against Jimmer in their practices. Have to say that I like Trice because I think he's a better defender than Jimmer...has a stronger lower body, IMO, but I think they are close, and Jimmer is much more confident on the offensive end of the court. Both lack size, though, something Phil and Fisher would want in a guard at this point.

I like Adkins. He's developed a nice midrange J, has a very solid jump hook, and he's physically tough and can rebound, even if he's not as tall as I would want. Can definitely see him competing against Early at this point, and if he can guard at the 3 position you could see him making a case to be on the team at some point.
