Ainge seems to have lost his mind so why not send him KT or something like that and try to get a deal for Ricky Davis.

Davis and Marbury? I dunno....anybody got any idea how the Knicks can get a starting 2 guard? Next year obviously.

Ainge probably wants cap space for the absolute mess he has built up. I'm not sure, maybe expiring contracts. I like Davis if he had his head screwed on.

I think Ricky Davis is fabulously talented. I don't know how he'd mesh with Marbury or TT. Well... I guess he'd work out fine next to Marbury... but unless TT decided that he was going to play inside more and be a PF, TT would be locked out of the offense by ball hogging guards.

Celts have 3 no 1, and if no playoffs, then lotto.

I hate ainge, but I see what he is doing. Tear it down, and rebuild it. It ain't the Dolan way of doing things.

Davis is a team cancer. Forget him, we need heart and soul, not egoistic guys that rebounds their own shot to record a triple-double.

i think they would atleast want a first one pick back for ricky davis, and i agree he is a cancer but is quite talented and gifted with hops. a really flashy and ****y player as well.

flash and hops only never made a player valuable to a team.

you need a brain and a heart before needing good legs. having them is good, only them is bad. This guy has been thrown away twice by a coach who is known for his teaching abilities and his patience. wanna take your chance ?

i thought ricky turned the corner in boston. he still comes off the bench without much of a fuss and does what he can to help his team win. maybe being on an awful team and steadily getting a bad rap had woke him up. i think if we do trade for him and get him he will take full advantage of being a starter on a contending team. he is still very young and him and marbury would be a fast backcourt duo that will drive teams crazy.

i would take him to. if we are expediting any process, guys like larry hughes and ricky davis--who may be available for the 2 spot are young proven and both have huge talent that still has not been hit to its full potential. seems like davis could be expendable first because he has 4 more years on his contract

Thats a tough call, he is talented but he is also a cancer. I would take a gamble - the worst that happens is you sit him on the bench and tel him to shut his mouth. They need insurance for H20 and TT - neither of them are durable.

In plain sight, Ricky Davis is a pure talent. He can score he can shoot he can jump.

Now tell me that if Ricky was a Knick and he jumped over Steve Nash or Charlie Ward the garden wouldn't have to get the national guard up in there to calm the crowd. On the other hand....Ricky probably would be trying to do that every oportunity he got.

That's the big issue with that. He's also around that age where guys really sit back and start playing for that championship. Maybe he comes to NY and realizes where he is especially with Lenny, Isiah, Aguirre, Kareem, The Captain, and all the other pioneers talking his ear off.

He's a cancer but....if the coaches can get him to see the big picture....it's pretty scary.
