Amare knocking down a jumper is always a good sign
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I'm wondering if he's not hurt.

Lol no he doesn't

yes, he does. just not lately

He's been in a shooting slump as of late, I think he should try to be more agressive by going to the rim, then when he hits a couple his jumpers start falling too.

Melo is a career 33% shooter from downtown. Hie best year was under MDA at above 40%

I thought he had turned a corner at the beginning of the season when he was on fire from downtown.

Was it real improvement or just a blip?

Yep. The guy was making 43-44% of his shots from three for the first two months of the season. He was hitting those shots. Agree that he needs to play inside-out at this point, to get himself going.

Why was Felton guarding Josh Smith in the post?

Amare has got to stop doing that. He did it to Bogut and killed his season.

The thing is he usually took those shots when he had already made a few. Taking a heat check shot when you're cold is a bad idea.

well, in his defense he was open.

Exactly. And there's a big diff between transition 3s and 3s in the half court offense off of ball movement. I guarantee he is less than 33 from transition.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
