Anyone else think Chandler and JR get snubbed tonight? I can see coaches not voting in JR for his comments on George Karl and Tyson missing out for Lopez and Noah. I think JR needs to be in a AS game just for the pure entertainment he'd bring

JR certainly doesn't even deserve to be in the discussion. Tyson is but doubt he makes it over Lopez or Noah

Give Brooklyn credit for sticking with their homegrown talent unlike some teams

Because they didn't unload Lopez for Howard but given the chance they would have?

Forgot about Bosh

Marc J. Spears ‏@SpearsNBAYahoo
Heat forward Chris Bosh is an East All-Star, source tells Y! Sports.

Chandler deserves it most apart from Melo looking at the Knicks team, but Noah has been playing his best season to date, and probably same with Lopez (and they're both very close to the Knicks' record).

Then again it's just sad that 4 out of 10 starters are on teams below .500%, but **** it, more players will be feeling like Josh Smith has for the past couple of seasons.

I'd love it if JR got in, but I don't see that happening at the moment.

TNT really pushed for JR Smith. He is due for a big payday in the offseason

The only one that could've(maybe should've) been replaced by JR is Irving.
Holiday has been the best player on Phily and George on Indiana, and both have better records than the Cavs.

Don't get me wrong though, I'd love to see JR, but Irving will also provide us with quite the entertainment :)

I'm having a hard time with the choice of Chris Bosh over Brook Lopez. Ridiculous on many levels. Lopez earned it and Nets should have a rep

Agree with that. Lopez > Bosh without a doubt, not to mention the Heat already had 2 starters while Brookyln doesn't even get 1 reserve :)

I agree with that but coaches don't like when players get other coaches fired. Lopez might not have anything to do with it. He deserved it over Bosh. Deron not a chance

Irving is amazing. There isn't one person in America who wouldn't pay to see him play

"@freemaneric: Very upset that we were all robbed of the chance to watch a sleepless, hungover JR Smith in the All-Star Game."

My thoughts exactly. Kinda surprised Bosh got in, and Deng too for that matter. As much as I hate them, Lopez should have made it

I like JR but there's no way he deserves to make the all star games; especially over the guys who did make it. Have to say that I'm surprised no Nets made the team; I don't believe any of them deserve to be there but I'm still surprised.

Overall, these are really good selections. The East is fine as it is and I only have one quibble in the West. I don't believe Lee should've made the team over Marc Gasol, if the coaches wanted a representative from the Warriors they should've picked Curry.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Prior to getting injured Deng was playing out of his mind.

Completely agree with that, just saying based on record if any one of those 3 guards were to miss out it'd have to be him. As a player though I find him much more interesting to watch then both of those 2 players combined :)
