Never heard of him until today. He's a Div 3 7-1 player who is 23-24 years old. Here is a small video. Doesnt show too much in the way of skill sets but at 7-1 it does show he has very nice athletic ability speed length and honestly from the video he certainly looks coordinated can handle the ball and knows how to play. This upcoming draft is somewhat thin--but I have to imagine if this kid was on Duke or NC hed easily be listed in the first round. You can teach what he has--simple as that. What do you think?

How does a guy that big and athletic not get a chance to play for a Division 1 school? It's like he's playing against high school JV players

We have any draft prospects from the 7th grade?

He's got the uncontested, grab the ball off the backboard dunk down pat.

Mount. St. Mary's. That says all you need to know.

This guy has to suck if he's 7'1 and playing D3,

he probably couldn't hang with the speed of the D1 game,

I don't think guys are looked like that. I have no clue whatsoever what happened and why this kid is not DIV1 there must be a story behind it--believe me div1 would take him even if he was putrid and bring him along. Lets move out the competition for one moment---and of course I did not see one shot etc.. very little there. BUT what I did see what looks like a legit 7-1 quite athletic young man who runs the floor VERY well for his size and shows that he can handle the ball and is coordinated with very decent hands.

The 7 footer is a different breed and sometimes they develop at different speeds. I dont know how old you are but I always think about the story of mark Eaton --remember he did not really like basketball and went to become a mechanic after college and then went on to jr college then on to UCLA where he never played? I think he was 25-26 and all he was was defensive player of the year twice in the nBA. You cannot teach what this kid has and Id like to see one other player--spotted anywhere who is 7-1 feet tall with the same speed and athletic ability? There are a couple of good 7 footers this year but I have to imagine by draft time he will be considered a 1st round pick.

That is the impression I got as well. He seemed too dominant over them and athletic too boot.

Wonder how his overall offense and defense are (hard to really tell much from highlights).

he has one move - the dunk. good enough for second round.

he plays like jonathan bender (without the trey and the handle). basically no PF or center moves, but just dunks and blocks

If you watch Andre Blatch of late you see he has regressed back into bone head mode. PJ not into rehabbing him it would appear.

He looked bad agains the KNinks Monday and I caught a bit of the Nets in minny last nite and he was dribbling behind his back, pulling moves then gooing no where.

My point is Andre has all the tools except the BBall IQ.

This kid could be the next Eaton or Mozgov and because of his size will get a chance to show what he can do.

Yea I've noticed Andray's regression. He is on my fantasy team. PJ realized that less of Andray equates to more wins

It was academics--he failed out at three different schools. This is what the FDU coach said about him--he also was an LA Clipper scout for 2 years.

"A guy like AJ Matthews comes through the NEC about once every 10 years," Vetrone said. "I really mean that. Just from his defensive prowess, he was an impact player. He'd have changed games."

It's basketball not heart surgery. If the guy good, he can play anywhere.

You don't have to be smart to pass through high school,

at the high school level, if you're failing, it's a question of character, nothing else,

Who said he failed out of highschool??? I assumed that comment from Briggs to be about college, the guy is 23 years olds.

Either way it's basketball, if he is good, he can play any where. Being a good guy has nothing to do with getting threw school.

Being a good guy has everything to do with being a good teammate, it's not an individual sport,

no thanks on this guy, huge red flags, how do you fail out of three schools, college or high school it doesn't matter,

schools are geared to pass as many people as possible, if you fail any school you're just not showing up to class

Failed 3 schools? Says something about his IQ doesn't it? Anthony Randolph waiting to happen.

You're reaching dude, none of what you are talking about has anything to do with if this guy is a good/person/father/son and if the knicks should find out if he could play in the NBA.

alright let's put it this way:

if you fail out of three schools, there's something wrong with you. no one can argue that.
