Wassup with Charlie Ward?

He was playing 15 or so fairly effectively minutes for SA but he has shown up in a box score in the last couple of weeks.

Ward sucks, alwasys did and always will. SA just realized how bad he is. No court vision, can't push the ball, can't guard anybody anymore, all he does is stand on the perimeter and shoot the 3. And he can't even do that anymore, cause you know when it matters Ward cant heat the side of the barn. Man I'm happy that scrub is finally gone, 10 years to late.

I could'nt disagree with you more simrud.
Charlie has had HUGEEE moments for us in the past.
I remember him drilling 3s and having the occasional drive to the basket during some much needed stretches during the playoffs of years past.
I'll always be fond of Charlie Ward..
In my mind.. he'll always be a Knick... sorta like Starks...

Who would? No one who has watched the knicks with any regularity over the past decade would co-sign that statement.

I really think Charlie's Mel Gibson-esque borderline anti-semitism hurt his legacy here in NY. But put together a brief list of all the Knicks in the last 10 years or so who have actually thrown a punch for the Orange and Blue.

Starks (head butts count)
X. McDaniel
A. Mason
Oakley
L. Johnson
C. Ward (at Alonzo, no less)

I'm sure I might have missed one or two, but pretty impressive Knick company, don't you think?
