I'm highly skeptical but if he really is as good as new it would be fantastic news.

I hope Woodson limits his minutes and keeps him fresh. The Knicks just need him to be good he doesn't have to be new.

Unfortunately, the person he must most convince is himself.

To his credit he has bounce back from all of his knee problems quite nicely through out his career

You don't become a star in this league, without being ****y. This is Amari being himself. He's ****y and has that in your face attitude. I love it. Don't change who you are. Or try to be somebody else. If he gets injured again, so what....thats basketball....Injuries is part of the game. You're not measured by how hard you fall, but how you get up. You have to have some balls to say that, knowing he's been labeled injury prone, his entire career. He's putting himself on the line once again, and don't care about the back lash from fans. Similar to when he said the Knicks are back. Stay ****y and dominate....Woodson is playing him exactly how he should....Limited minutes off the bench....Stay hungry!

I agree. If it was an issue of rehabbing and getting back into shape he could definitely overcome this. My concern is that the doctors set a 5 year time line and he is well past that. You can't question Amare's work ethic or his commitment to rehab. The eye stuff he overcame was amazing.

Dear Amar'e:

Who the FORKS is you?!?!

You dropped 25/9 for half a season here,

Ewing did gave us 20/11 with 3 swats for a decade!

C'MON SON

You will be remembered more for "growing 4 inches", "gaining 20 lbs of muscle" and punching a fire extinguisher than anything you did on the court,

Your biggest service to the franchise was acting as bait so that we could sign Melo,

Plz STFU and DROP SOME BUCKETS

All The Best Things,
Iron Will, a real fan

P.S. DON'T THINK YOU'RE A REAL KNICK JUST BECAUSE YOU WEAR ORANGE AND BLUE, YOU'RE CLOSER TO LARRY HUGHES AND EDDY CURRY THAN EWING AND OAK!!!

Some people seem to take player injuries way too personally. You realise he's not getting injured on purpose don't you? it's not something he's done to screw the Knicks- it's not a judgement on him from the basketball gods. I remember people used to get p***ed off at Allan Houston because his knees failed him. Why can't you just get frustrated at the situation without making it a attack on the player like it's something they've done to spite you?

No one is blaming him for being injured, that's a part of the game,

I had an injury in rec league in 2012 that kept me out six months; I landed funny and sprained my left ankle and knee plus I fractured my leg,

The problem with Amar'e is that his mouth is 10 steps ahead of his game, and he keeps toying with the hearts of loyal and true Knicks fans,

The sooner the Amar'e era ends the better.

And this is coming from one of his biggest supporters here. There comes a time when enough is enough

Amare never told us WHERE the inches were gained?

NBA players love to talk and tell fans what they want to hear. To his credit he is putting it out there and he does work hard. Eddy talked and never backed it up. Marbury talked a lot too!

Ewing guaranteed us a lot but he never told us of his injuries and thought he could play thru them. Ewing's warrior attitude sometimes hurt him also.

With ewing he gets a pass because he did bring it for so many years warts and all.

lol,

Amar'e is far from a warrior, he plays David Lee Defense. Playing d is a prerequisite for being called a 'warrior'

Amar'e is a fugazy warrior

What he needs to do is put his head down and play strong basketball for a while, avoid imploding in the post season, and just give good effort all around, all the time,

The time for talk is done with this guy, we demand results!

By the way I healed my fracture on my own and diagnosed it myself with a tuning fork from amazon. And I squatted heavy all the way through to keep in shape. That's being a warrior.

We know all about your special jedi mind tricks.

To his credit he really goes quiet until he is about to step on the court. In time its what happens on the court that sets the story from the fable. He does return, he does over come, and then something else happens.

Fugazy's never really do it to begin with.
