Cross-town rivals, lots of injuries, possible first round match up.

3 days off is good for the injuries but a bane for those of us who need a Knicks fix every 2 days.

I really just want the knicks to get the win any way possible. The knicks shouldn't think of the nets as a depleted team because they are depleted too. I look for an intense game in which, of course, the knicks will be victorious. why not! The knicks must win this one and then again in Philadelphia if they wish to remain in the 7th spot for the play-offs because these are a couple of very winnable games.
Net Vs. Knicks in the play-offs won't be as exciting if Kidd isn't playing. I expect the knicks to win that too.
Frank Williams is the best knicks player this year. mad Respect

The Nets got to be getting sick of losing. Hope they win tonight, or they'll be ornery by the time they get the Knicks. Hope Kenyon's not up to playing more than 15-20 mins either. We don't have an answer for him. Otherwise, and assuming TT is on his game, think we match up pretty well.

yea.. should be a good one. I know Kidd is out.. is Kmart going to play? Will that be his first game back? Kurts played well on defense.. that would be an interesting matchup.

Whether or not KMart is back is not a big worry to me. NJ Nets are so dependant on Kidd. Their guys get set up by him so well, and when he is not it, their O just is not smooth.

If they don't have Kenyon and Kidd it's a wack game. The team is totally different when they both play.

I wanna see both teams play at full speed. That would be dope.
The only match-up the Knicks lose is Kenyon vs. Kurt. But the Knicks have Sweets, Baker, Nazr and Mutombo to rotate.

4/2 should be a Knick win. I hate the Nets.

I hate the Nets as well...
I hope TT lights them up and if Mutumbo plays... hope he gets like 5 blocks..

Anyone know if Mutumbo will be back for this game?
Also... any news on Penny?

Both should be very close to returning...
At which point only injured guy onroster would be Houston.

the knicks should win it, even with kmart back. i'm a knick season ticket holder but my friends and i are so rabid, we bought tickets to this game as well. i'll be there with my sweetney jersey on.

it should be fun. i hope it's like the knicks/nets game of old with the arena 80% knicks fans.

penny will be back friday... by friday kenyon may have already played a couple games... he will not be as explosive, and he's very gaurdable, even if we cant defend him put his ass on the line where he cant shoot for ****

oh and osmosis should be playing by friday... but he may not be getting many minutes we have mad depth w/ nazr and baker, the nets like to run and osmosis cant do that too well so for the D he wont be good i say we drop his ass this offseason

that's why you need league pass. it was great watching portland beat up on the celtics late and painful watching atlanta choke away the game against miami. with league pass, during the nba season, i watch pretty much bball every night and nothing else.

With Ks having more games on the road than at home from here on out, thank the Lord of Schedules that we have the break. With KMart not at full strength and Kidd out, this should not be a loss, but you never know with the Ks.

does anyone know what the second tie breaker is after head to head. We are tied with the bucks 2-2 if we have the same record at the end of the year what would the tie breaker be?
