Wish we had Felton in this game but I think having Shump back will help. Without him Dwill and Joe Johnson would abuse Kidd and Prigs. They've been playing really well. Of course I'm worried about the rebounding of evans and athleticism of Blatche but Humphries hasn't done anything against us this year and Lopez is soft especially in the 4th quarter.

Knicks can't count. They said they would play him 3mins per quarter for 15mins total. Thats 12mins not 15. I think they will increase him to 4mins per quarter. 16mins total

It's reasonable to expect Shump will play limited minutes next few games,

1-3 weeks until free slammin it, but will be conscious all season,

wait until next year to see full health,

still will have POWERFUL IMPACT

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Can't wait. By the time Felton comes back. Amare will be starting at 100% and Shump will be a lot more up to speed as a starter. Even with Amare starting I'd like to see them keep him around 30mins. Might be tough with Sheed and Camby out and Tyson logging heavy minutes tho

I'm okay with the limited minutes now, as long as they let the leash go for the playoffs.

How is Amare going to start when he is the only player above 6'8 on the bench??? Can't keep JR on the bench and not use the same logic for Amare.

Hmm thats a fair point. Amare might not start still at least Sheed or Camby get back

They've been winning lately- as I don't actually watch the Nets, does anyone know if they are actually playing a lot better or whether it's just due to a weak schedule?

This and the Celtics game are must wins, not so much for playoff seeding, but simply because I hate both of those teams!

It is- they cheated to win one of them (that flop by G Wallace I think), while we returned the favor by cheating to win another (the Kidd leg kick and flop on the 3 pointer). Other game we blew them out.

This will be a tough game for us because the Nets are playing good basketball so we must come out with blazing fire power. We must defend every minuet of the game. We must make them play our style of B ball and not there's. This game will show us a little more of what shump and Stat will bring to the table. I miss Felton.
