![]() http://www.nba.com/2013/news/01/17/all-star-2013-starters-announced/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt3a
East starters: Rondo Wade Lebro Melo Garnett Melo received the 2nd most votes in the East, behind Lebron, and the 4th most votes in the league behind Durant and Kobe. Tyson finished in 5th for frontcourt players behind the 3 starters and Chris Bosh; Amare finished 11th behind Pierce, Noah, Josh Smith, Battier, and Varejao; Felton finished 7th in the voting for backcourt players behind Wade, Rondo, Deron, Irving, Ray Allen, and Monta. For anyone wondering, Lin, unsurprisingly, received way too many votes and finished about 46,000 votes behind Chris Paul for 3rd in backcourt voting. The only changes I would make would be to swap Wade out for Kyrie Irving and Howard out for Marc Gasol/ZBo/Aldridge/Duncan/Asik/Ibaka, pretty much any other big man who received votes in the West. Now the joy of my world is in Zion
How beautiful if nothing more
Than to wait at Zion's door
I've never been in love like this before
Now let me pray to keep you from
The perils that will surely come

![]() I feel for Tyson. Tyson should have gotten the start over KG and I'm not basing that on my overall dislike for KG.
Looks like the TNT guys agree too. He should make it to the reserves without question. |

I'm not sure that he'll make the team at all (I'm also not sure that I want him to; I think I'd rather he get that whole weekend off to recuperate). There are four spots left and he'll be competing with Pierce, Lopez, Noah, Deng, Paul George, Chris Bosh, Josh Smith, and Horford. Out of those 9 players I think that Pierce and Noah are virtual locks and I think Bosh is almost guaranteed a spot as well. That leaves him competing with Lopez, Dent, George, Smith, and Horford for the last spot. It's certainly not impossible that he'd make it but I think the odds are stacked against him. ![]() He should make ahead of all those 9 players but he probably won't since mainstream folk care so much about PPG.
