![]() I never wined about Lee. He was my favorite Knick. So I have the right to whine
![]() However I was in favor of going after Lebron and simply signing Lee would not have netted us Lebron. Just a bad situation all around. If I remember correctly Briggs was against signing Lebron so he can whine about Lee |

Thats because NY sucks as a sports city, and is hyper-critical of its own players, and wants 'em run out of town after a two game losing streak. Look how people around here talk about woody, felton, and melo --- and melo is a top 5 player. Look the at the way we treated Ewing and other great stars. Ny'ers are entitled idiots with agendas. Dont put me in that category. I always knew Zach, Jamal, and lee could ball. They were just in the wrong environment, team wise. We gave them up for peanuts. In a vacuum, that has had a negative effect on our current roster. We should have at least received decent talent in return. Is anyone we traded them for still on the roster? And they were players in their prime. My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits/ So trust me I'm as live as it gets.

Theres always someone waiting in the wings for someone to fail then they feel they have the RIGHT to dig up stupid things to say about that someone.ITS UNREAL. |

![]() Good point Seb. It just goes to show how Isiah royally screw up any value this franchise had built and how it was perceived by the rest of the league. We were so awful that Marbury, Zach, Crawford and Lee were given up for absolutely nothing in return now they are succeeding with Golden state, Memphis and the Clips

In Marbury's case, he was allowed to walk, even tho he could have been a valuable commodity as an expiring. Major assets were squandered again and again during the Dantoni/Walsh regime. Im not mad at the strategy, because Lebron is a once-in-a-lifetime player, but for what we surrendered, for nothing, that strategy had to work. It didnt. Grumwald picked up the pieces. ![]() When you have no FO consistency, and you go through consecutive GMs and new visions of trying to clean house of the mess that the previous one created, with the pressure of doing it quickly, you're going to see a lot of sell low/buy high.

![]() Fair enough but their values greatly diminished under Isiah as GM and coach. Not sure what Walsh could've done when the organization was deadset on getting Lebron
