i am disgusted with the past few games save the san antonio game. however, the schedule was harder and melo was suspended and we dealt with injuries. the games for the next two weeks, though, are what will seperate us from the rest of the pack (hopefully). very winnable games. we cant let lesser teams beat us like last year. plus with shump coming back to help with or perimeter defense which has been weak all year we can do well.

there is no such thing as winnable the way the knicks are playing. Even the spurs game we caught them at the right time because they played like 4 games in 5 nights. i wnat to see the november knicks because they played smart and played good defense

That SA game was an aberration. Knicks caught a tired team. SA had a bunch of game in a short period of time.

if you think about it the last time the knicks were actually impressive was the last nets game which was close to a month ago

I misread the title as 'winning steak', which tells you have far the concept of a winning streak is from my mind at the moment!

That's a lazy assessment. I guess the Bulls only won tonight because we've had 2 in a row.

Knicks have dealt with some issues. I'm not an apologist and I hate excuses, but we're in a rut caused partially by injuries. And we've had a tougher schedule lately. Add to that we're trying to mix STAT in and all of a sudden JR and everyone else are in shooting slumps.

We will be fine. Stay afloat until Felton is healthy. When we have a lineup of Felton, Kidd, Shump, Melo and Tyson out there our defense will be just fine and our offense will be back. We've lost 3 in a row. These things happen over the course of a long season. I'm pissed also, but we'll be fine.

very true but if they want to win the division they have to win games agaisnt temas they think they are better than. they cant lose against charlotte, new orleans, etc. and think it is fine. i hope these three games are a wake up call.

When are you going to realize that injuries are a part of this team. It is expected that the knicks are going to have injuries. No team gets through the year njury free. At least some good news Shump going to play with Erie Bayhawks when Knicks go to London.

I realize that. I don't think Felton was expected to be injured, but having old backups seems like a miscalculation at this point. However, it is what it is. The PG is very important and we're struggling without him right now. All good teams go through struggles. I think we'll be fine.

That's what I said, then The People called me a lunatic,

But it was an aberration, specifically the margin of victory, not so much the victory it self. I think we're good enough to beat the Spurs on any day, but to blow them out of the water, that won't happen again, and we'll have to play much better to bang

Tough schedules are a feature for all teams, but that didnt stop you from inserting that into your explanation for why the knicks beat the Spurs (what was the spurs excuse the first time, btw?). Dont expect to be taken seriously until you manage your obvious bias --- whatever it is, exactly.

how the hell was it an aberration when we beat them twice? Do you guys know what that word means?

So, again, Knicks win/do well= fluke, Knicks lose/do badly= truth.

Great reasoning!

No one said today is truth and yesterday is fluke,

At the same time, the hype around the last Spurs win wasn't justified, just like the doom and gloom isn't really justified today,

As a knicks fan, I'm praying to the universe that we get hot in April and ride into the playoffs with balls of fire

Now that's some brilliant argumentation.

Please, bring me some more of that for how we beat the Heat twice.

Why is it that when we beat a good team, (Heat, SA) it's an aberration, but when we get beat, the team is crap? Seems unbalanced

well, besides the nets game, we are starting to get things together. hope it continues tonight. i will be at the game making a pit stop at gino's steaks before heading to the arena ( yearly tradition with the son). however, we can use the next couple of weeks to get seperation from nj ( who lost last night and have a BRUTAL schedule) and get into rhythm with key players coming back.
winning streak?
