It was obvious that health would be a problem for this team. The team has enough depth that it will likely play at least at the .600 level as long as Melo and Chandler are healthy though.

This is exactly why I wanted Reggie Evans on this team over Sheed, KT, Camby. There was no need to sign all 3 of these guys, even though they are likable (I hold exception w/ Sheed). Knicks need some durability and energy in the paint.
As for the guards, I think Shump coming back soon will hopefully help a ton and get things back on track.

I voiced my concerns very early on before any games were played. The Marcus Camby trade sent me over the top. Our average age is 31.7 and we're the oldest team in the NBA. So for all the fanfare Melo receives from this fan base looks like Grunny has put Melo in the same position he's been in while in Denver. We have the nerve to be looking at 35yr old K-Mart which would make us older....I mean we waited all this time to become the Older Nuggets?

Was Blatche ever an option for the Knicks? Also, dude just was a bystander while a rape occurred at 4am in the suite he rented in Philly. The victim is saying Blatche was aware of what was taking place.

If I remember correctly, Kobe Bryant was almost guilty of rape himself nevermind being in the house. Bypass Kobe? Im talking back ups with young legs and skills. Camby is making almost 5mm this year. Money poorly spent.

I wish the Knicks signed Evans. I hate him on the nets but he would make a huge impact on the Knicks. Knicks probably still have Kurt and Sheed even if they got Evans.

After reading into the story the witness/victim was trashed according to investigators. It was 3 guys picking up 3 chicks late at night and 1 of them cried foul while under the influence of 100oz of Ciroc. While I'm not condoning what happened as no one really knows for certain you have to wonder what a 21yr old would be thinking going back to the Hotel that late/early at night. She agreed to have relations with 1 of them but not the other. Seems like she got mad because the homie tried to have some.

Possibly a good pick-up but I was against getting Blatche because of the mental make-up of our team. LOL @ those who said we have vets on our team who'd keep him in line. In line for what getting technicals? Losing composure when the game gets physical? Getting off their game if too much trash talking is going on?
There have been some younger players waived hopefully we're considering looking at picking up someone.

reports are saying a date rape drug was found in he's suite and that he had compromising photos of the victim on his phone. Personally, not looking for guys that rape or participate in those sorts of crimes even if they have young legs and are being accused of the same crime as Kobe.

Melo is 1/3 of this team if not even more. Minus Melo this is a loterry team for 5 years straight. We wanted super and we get him. The rest is history.

This team was better last year when Melo did not play. We had that one great game versus Miami and weve certainly held our own--but last year we won without him. Its a confusing roster. Hope for all of us health springs up and we can get continuity and go on a roll.

This roster is very dependent on him. They don't have any other versatile, efficient scorers.

oh and because this is what the Knicks and Melo wanted. Lose Lin and surround Melo with compromised veterans
Felton helps

Brewer has come to the point where he is a DNP coaches decision even with his minutes. He wont shoot cant shoot looks confused and is a terrible piece for this team as is. Hes Carmelo's 2 guard to start the game.

He won't see any minutes this year unless they use him on Lebron so Melo stays out of foul trouble. Brewer is gone next year. Vet min no big deal although I wanted Marco Belinelli at SG

I think if the Knicks knew Kidd would be relegated to playing off the ball at SG they would have brought Lin back. They are over the cap anyway and may lose JR. Felton, Lin and Kidd would be a lot more effective than the redundancy that is Kidd and Prigioni
