Seattle Kings works perfect as the core county is King County (as in KingDome)

I think they go "Sonics" again. Thats my guess. NHL has "Kings" also. Before they moved from Cincy they were the "Royals"!

Yeah, I think they become to the new SuperSonics.

Shame for Sacto though. Their legacy is going to be getting screwed over in the 2002 West Finals.

Gotta believe DeMarcus Cousins is gettable at this point. Why would new ownership want to commit long term salary to that dope?

Found this on the NBA site

The deal will sell the Kings for approximately $500 million to a group led by hedge-fund manager Chris Hansen and Microsoft chairman Steve Ballmer. The group is seeking to relocate the franchise to Seattle’s Key Arena for the 2013-14 season.The Seattle group’s plans, with support of the NBA, is to play two seasons in Key Arena before moving into a new Seattle arena, sources said.
No agreement has been signed, but one source with knowledge of the talks described the deal as “first and goal at the 1.”

Glad for Seattle but upset for Sac residents/fans. Could've just added Seattle instead of hurting an entire fan base. Just my thoughts.

Wow! Good for Seattle. The Kings/Royals are a year or so older than the NBA and our beloved Knickerbockers. From Rochester to Cincinnati to Omaha and Kansas City to Sacramento to Washington State? Kind of a shame if they retire the Kings mascot. But if they do, Brooklyn Nets should buy it... Brooklyn Kings!
