I jinxed Melo On a night where I predicted 62 points for Melo, he only puts up 1 point during the 1st quarter

He's going over 30 tonight anyway :) He'll score 60+ on another night :)
I've no doubt he'll score a carreer high at some point during this season, it's just goin' for him.

They said on the boston feed that the celtics have held their opponents to under 80pts the last couple of games so its not just the Knicks being off. One good thing I saw from Stat was that he looks more comfortable sprinting which is a good sign.

What i'm wondering is why no Post up for STAT at the end of the qtr rather than an ISO for JR? It seems to me that the Knicks still don't make use of the post play as much as I thought Woody was saying he was going to. It helps to break up the way the defense is trying to defend the Knicks. Why not run STAT right down to the middle of the paint early and see what happens?

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

It's the truth. Just pointing out your agenda posting ways TKF. If Melo had 0 rebounds as our starting PF, after 1 quarter, you'd be going ape-****. You've done it before, even during a game in which Melo had 30+ points and 3 boards after 3 quarter. You harped all over his "lack of rebounding".

I don't get it either.. it seems as if amare is now an afterthought and woodson is stuck in iso/three ball shooting mode of offense.. not happy.. prigs should be running pick and roll with amare almost every time down when he is in the game..

2nd slowest drive to the hoop by prigi. The first slowest being one easier in the year by Kidd.

Melo can still get back into it, but JR can't keep trying to shoot himself back into the game.

I get the feeling that as the season goes on Kidd will take more chances going to the rim but you never know.
