we are mentally soft. Memphis Bulls and now the celtics have all gotten into our heads and we have lost every time

Pierce hit some tough shots and Melo didn't. He might have been fouled on some of those shots but he was playing so emotional and reckless the refs weren't gonna call that. Amare looked good on offense which was encouraging. We definitely missed Felton in a game like this. If not only to get the ball up in a quick manner. Prigs was brutal.

Not sure about our offense
Umm right now our back court is Kidd and brewer. How the heck does our offense don't improve with 2 penetrating guards, who also can hit the open shot???
+1
agreed. this team is not supposed to be rolling out a Kidd/Brewer backcourt for heavy minutes.
Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Good post.
I dont really agree the knicks were pretty sloppy at times. woody left novak in there every time we had a lead and then the lead evaporated. the defense once again let us down

Its very concerning. Celtics also played mind games with Melo to make it even worse. We really shoulda had this.
I hear you, but the problem has more to do with our defense and our PG play. Prig, is absolutely trash. Once he comes into the games he gets pressed to death, and start making stupid decisions. Him and Novak are liabilities on both ends they are in the game.

Dude, stfu. You called that PP will rip our hearts out? That is just so wrong on so many levels. Do yourself and everyone else here a favor, please. Retire from posting, really, you should at least think about it.

This was winnable game, Garnett made Starmelo his bitch. We let the Celts take us out of the game emotionally, and we still have no recognizable offense.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

As I said earlier, Boston held the last two opponents to under 80 so I wouldn't call it an aberration, and as Hersports pointed out we're short handed.

I don't like Chuck-Melo. He could have really change the game with his passing but no. Terrible game. He is allowed a few but dang do other things if you are not on.
Woody needs to know that you can not switch against Boston and figure out how to deal with the zone the Celtics ran at times.

I remember some of the tough game moments from last year and Shump comes to mind on most of those. I'm hoping he comes back like Bradley has and changes the whole defensive culture of the team. Our defense is above average now but if Shump is Shump we will be fine. I also hope the refs give Shump as much respect as they do bradley.
