Ridiculous comment. Most teams with a star win with their stars having big scoring nights and struggle when their stars struggle. OKC, Heat, Spurs, Grizzlies. We still had solid contributions from others. Kidd w/ 5 threes and a great complete game especially his defense. JR with a solid game. Chandler was decent.

Raymond Felton (hurt).
Iman Shumpert (recovering).
Rasheed Wallace (hurt).
Amar'e Stoudemire (just returned).

Jason Kidd.
Pablo Prigioni.
J.R Smith.
Steve Novak.
Ronnie Brewer.
Chris Copeland.
Carmelo Anthony.
Marcus Camby.
Kurt Thomas.
Tyson Chandler.

I don't know.... You tell me. Are we deep?

Exactly. The odd case out are the games that are early blowouts and the star player doesn't have 20 points by half-time.

Forgot about the +7 after 45 minutes of grind mode. Melo was smoking like some OG-Kush on this night.

Carmelo and Smith were very good down the stretch. The Hockey Assist to Kidd for a 3 late...... yes I said Hockey Assist was a very good play from Melo. He made the right offensive moves against McRoberts and didn't miss.

It was also noteworthy when Stat left the team took over. Stat is going to have a major uphill battle to be a part of the success not sure if he'll be able to catch up to the game speed and how teams defend him in our scheme. He's pretty much a garbage production player.

Think team took over when Kidd got back on court..not Stat Leaving. It was rather apparent. His defense on Nelson and rebounding was the key. I think Stat was a wash in terms of effect on game. didn't think it was negative. Knicks were losing fine on their own before Stat even saw the floor.
