Everybody can't be shooters on this team, Prigioni gives players the ball where they want it.
He earned the vets respect tonight, now they have to allow him to play his game and not hinder what he does best ...facilitate !
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

this IS a guy who is used to playing major minutes. he looks more comfortable the more he's on the court.

the challenge will really be him remaining this effective when Felton/Shump are back.

If anything it shows were are in good hands if anything happen to Kidd

It's kinda cool that we can basically not have a huge drop off with any one of our three PGs on the floor

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

If Shump can improve his handle and PnR game the knicks will have probably the most capable group of PnR ball handlers which will create problems. Not only can they attack off the high PnR but side PnR by the wings.

Also, even though STAT did not finish at the rim well tonight you can see how he will help NY by being a baseline cutter. UNlike Brewer STAT will eventually be able to finish when he gets the ball at the rim.

Grunwald and Woody are probably really happy to see their off season work come to fruition tonight with STAT, Pablo, Cope etc. starting to really come together.

I'm feelin' it, just like I was feelin' that tonight was gonna be a win :)

Hopefully with a game like the one tonight they should remember to keep their focus on defense.
I know they're not gonna keep every team below 90 points, but every game is a very winnable one when the defensive effort is there, top that with the offensive firepower we have in Melo, Smith, and soon Stoudamire we should be going on a strong winning streak provided they just keep their focus, that's the one thing that was really lacking (if you don't count the obvious amount of injuries).

This game was a mirror image of the November Knicks. Pretty much having Camby or Sheed to help Chandler protect the rim along with the breakthrough of Pablo P...man this team will be scary when everyone's healthy!

Knicks got their MOJO back in this game. To win like they did against a top team builds a certain amount of confidence amongst the entire team.

I'm not sure what you guys think but Amare post moves look quick..once he gets the rust off that is gonna be a great weapon. He hasn't lost any quickness in the post. When he gets his legs back he can be a monster. Great added dimension to our offense when teams lock down our pick n rolls.

I agree, can't be easy changing his game at this stage in his career. Props to Stat for trying.

I love Prigs energy off the bench with JR and Amare. I hope no one creates a Start Prigioni thread
