playa - this speculation is a waste. Why? Because these are professional athletes and not a boys choir. These are everyday people with everyday flaws. They are guaranteed to make mistakes, just like we all do. If any player decides to attend one party during the eight month marathon of the season, who are we to question their choice as grown azz men? We are not a team of felons. They are just a group of young/older men.
So long as they are never late for practice, stay away from illegal substances, shady characters and are nice to their moms', I could care less where they hang, what they consume or who they screw.
Never said these guys were felons or not normal human beings, what we are addressing here is unusual slow starts for a professional basketball team located in NYC.
We all know players are normal, JR said he knew he was so good that he could get away with it and still show up.
New Years Eve and road trips can easily turn into a fun time for pro athletes, some know how to mask it better than others.
I don't think Woodson changed his no nonsense approach , but maybe some of the players changed some of their professional dedication.
Let's agree to disagree, NYC is not a city that many professional athletes can handle during a season.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
