What player on the Clippers is a Kobe stopper or a Lebron stopper? None--they have small guards in both units but they play the 3rd best D in the league. The Clippers make the other team go on the defensive because every position can put up 20 any given night including the bench. Brewer is a detrimant to the team--the guy that the other team can use to go double carmelo. Go get me a guy who can score 10 points grab a few rebounds and shoot 45%. This 0-3 in 17 minutes is a waste of time for us.

We saw what Brewer can do when healthy. I can't think of any explanation for how badly he's playing other than that he's not healthy.

Caron Butler and Matt Barnes plays that role on the Clippers

With Deandre Jordan's shot blocking ability to back them up, Hollins *VERY ATHLETIC as well especially for a backup*

CP3 is a pretty good defender himself...

Bledsoe puts a lot of pressure defensively with his quickness/speed, athleticism, and strength in that small body

Turiaf/Odom are the other not as talented but focuses on D role

Clippers are very dangerous on the fast break, something we have been unable to do consistently
In addition, they are a good DEF team, creating TO, good, rebounding team, and have many young legs
MOST IMPORTANTLY, they have no EGO issues, they are very talented and DEEP, and all the player KNOW and ACCEPT their roles, and do not care for the spot light.

CP3 does not care for stats, highlights, and leads by example, even Blake doesn't demand the ball for 20 touches a game, they all SHARE the ball efficiently

exactly, he has no more explosion and his finger injury has messed up his dribbling. It is what it is. We will see as the season goes on.

I was never one who fell in love with his 3 pt % and always thought it was just cherry. I do think he will shoot better when he sees something goes through the basket though. I do believe some players need more attempts but when they slump they hesitate to shoot after a miss. Some players not all. Defense and slashing with the occasional corner 3.

Brewer is not that good. Hence why he is playing for the minimum.

Brewer is an undersized SF.

He is a stopgap until Shumpert returns.

He is a stop gate until Shumpert returns.

Exactly. He was targeted in free agency just as exactly that. A very very poor homeless man on the 4 5 Train's Iman Shumpert who can guard most positions to fill in until I_am_Iman can return to action. Once that occurs, he'll be relegated to the bench pretty much with Iman, Kidd, and JR getting most of the 2 guard minutes. Overlooking his offensive contributions(lack of), brilliant move by Grunny if you look at the results so far.

MDA is with the wrong team in LA.

Clips are playing good MDA ball with a roster he'd lust for.

Vinny D got a good team to play with!

Disagree..They are not a good three point shooting team nor do they use it as an offensive strategy..They are a good defensive team and try on defense...The only similarities is that they have a very heady PG who is the floor leader that runs a great pick and roll...MDA needs this type of PG to be successful...Paul thrives in a half court offense and seems prefers to run a half court offense... I don't think MDA wants play half court ball except he is forced to do so because of the age of his current team...

That Clip roster, with the best PG in the game leading the way will make any coach look good. Think about it, Vinny D. is the coach of the team that went undefeated for a whole month. Only 2 other teams did that in the history of the game....

He's depth. Shumpert will return, and he's slowly being phased out anyway.
