Check out the size of that scar on Adrian Peterson! I saw "Beginnings" on MSG and Iman's scar didn't look nearly as bad.

I have no doubts he will return to rabid pitbull defensive form after he shakes off the rust. Any added offense he brings will be a bonus.

Can't wait!

I don't think scar size predicts return success. Most people do return back to normal or very close to normal after ACL surgery now though. The concern with Iman is that this wasn't an isolated incident. He kept having problems with both knees.

Scar size? Oh my.....

Anyway Peterson is the exception, not the norm.

He had arthroscopic surgery for a torn meniscus on his right knee in Georgia Tech. Believe he got rolled into his knee during the Christmas Day Boston game 1 last year (forgot which knee), but only missed 4 games no surgery. This is the first time Iman has torn an ACL(left knee) in his basketball career. He'll be fine.

He looks about another month away. Very tough to be affective without lift, he's going to need to really work his way back.

Wow a young baller that can actually go left and finish with both hands. Now that's a player you can actually believe in.

I really think AP is just a freak. I can't believe how well he came back in that time frame. For a Running Back that is insane. Let's hope Shunmpert healed properly and doesn't come back too soon.

He needs to hit the weights, that's all. If he builds the quads and hammies, the acl won't matter.

Adrian Peterson having a great year doesn't prove anything regarding Shumpert. 99% of the time ACL tears are 2 year injuries; we're all hoping that Shumpert is fully recovered right away but most of us understand better than to expect it.

The concern with Iman is the surgery was performed by the Knicks doctors

Are you sure about that? Often a nationally recognized surgeon like Dr. James Andrews does the procedure. I couldn't find the name of Shumpert's surgeon online though.

Guns is generalizing that most teams have better docters but some how ours suck.

Maybe getting defective starphuchs and their contracts for years was the true reason?

Maybe an organization that habitually practices deceptive public relations in order to demphazise injury leaving fans only to guess?

He did Crawford acl surgery too.

I wished his Pensacola center opened a few years earlier because I would have tried to go there.

My worry with Shumpert is he tore his acl just dribbling. Very disturbing.
