If Woodson really does go with that lineup, theres no way Felton doesnt take it personally
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Agree. I am not sure if the team will every be totally healthy. If they get to that point maybe Woodson gives guys nights off. Amare and Shump are coming back from surgeries and could use rest. Melo has the ish beat out of him most nights. Kidd, Camby, Sheed and Thomas all are old but valuable.

Yeah once this team gets anywhere near healthy, Woodson needs to start using the depth until we approach the postseason. He shouldnt hesitate to give Camby, Sheed, Amare, Melo, or Shump a game or 2 off. Even D'antoni did that with Amare his first season here if im not mistaken.

PROBABLE:
SG Shumpert

The other spot really is up for grabs, with JR and Amare the most obvious possibilities.

I've been thinking the whole season that come playoff time, Kidd-Shumpert will be our closing backcourt, and I certainly still believe that.

Funny. We haven't seen Stat and Melo show once yet this fabulous season, but these are what we are going to war with at the end of games.
Wouldn't it be nice to base Stat at the end of games on something other than Dreamshakes in the dark and broken glass/knees?

SF - Novak (Cope I don't trust yet, give me another year)
PF - Melo
SG - JR (right now you really have no other choice)
PG - Chip Felton (love Ponce deKidd, but this gimmick PG/SG/threes from heaven are not going to last)

The only knowns is Kidd, Melo, and JR. Those have proven they belong end of games time and time again this season. Everything else is up for grabs.

Great Call NYK Mentality

What if someone told you that you could maintain defensive intensity and pick up a few clutch buckets?

The discussion is nice, but the games are not played in a vacuum. The lineup needs a real life model to match up.

Tyson Chandler. cannot do all the interior work alone. he gets Kendrick Perkins.
Marcus Camby. a few extra assists never hurt. He gets Serge Ibaka.
Carmelo Anthony. Can he get Durant?
Iman Shumpert. love the backpedal. Hate the fragile meniscus. Thabo Sefolosha.
JR Smith. someone needs to handle the ball against pressure. Westbrook. Great matchup of two intense personalities.

Now, we have something tangible to discuss instead of baseball cards.
