Novak is a shooter, shooters will have down spells but when they got hot, all is forgiven

Novak didn't lose his touch, he is just in a little dry spell, and I think he will get his confidence back soon and start raining the filthy treys

I would rather he slump in December than April

Brewer, whatever, man; Shumpdawg is going to push him out of the lineup anyway, I ain't worried

Just like the playoffs last year--I think teams have figured out no space for Novak=little effectiveness. He cant get his own shot so right now he has little effect.

On average, Novak's gonna make about 7 out of 18 3s. It shouldn't be surprising if there is a stretch where he goes 4 for 18. There will be a 10 for 18 at some point too.

I still feel there's a role for Novak on this team. Even when he's not taking many shots the opposing defense still needs to account for him at all times. I'd like to see what a lineup of Kidd-JR-Novak-Melo-Tyson can do together.

As for Brewer, dude can't do anything anymore. He was never going to keep up his offensive production from early in the season but why his defense has completely tanked I don't really no. I'm assuming that it's all due to the torn meniscus he suffered back in September and hopefully he'll be getting some time off soon to help recover.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

More Copeland would help with Novack. You don't need 20 minutes a night to take three shots.

Brewer probably needs time off, he doesn't look right. Now lift in his hops so he can't even attack the basket when he has opportunities.

I don't mean to bring this back to Felton, but remembering how Lin created shots for Novak comes to mind. Felton is great at driving to the hole. But, he is really bad at finding the open man once there. He needs to work on this. Second, I think it would help our shooters out if Felton learned to drive closer to "in between" his defender and the defender closest him. Felton has a great handle and the 2nd defender may bite, pulling him off and momentarily leaving the shooter open. Lin was incredibly good and both points 1 and 2. Now, Maybe Feltons vision won't get any better, but he can work on pulling defenders off of shooters by adjusting his drives.

Looks like Copeland may start seeing more time out there, he is consistently putting up numbers and Novak is consistently covered - and as Briggs said, defenders just are starting not to leave him. That isn't totally bad as it creates space, BUT the bad part is that Brewer and Felton aren't hitting their shots, so it puts more pressure on Novak and other shooters that can hit their shots. When Stat comes back the spacing is going to need adjustment as well. Now we have Felton out with the pinky... oh boy...

How about addressing how Felton can help out here and not focus on a small Lin comment?

Lots of Luv to ya bro

Rather address Novak and Brewer in the appropriate setting. But I know when the heart flutters, things like that fall by the waste.

Easy to guard Novak without Melo on the floor to space things for him. I think Novak drawing a lot of attention out beyond the 3pt line is actually good for O. Even when he's not getting/making shots, he is freeing things up inside by drawing attention away from the basket.

There's much ado about Novak but he's playing a relatively similar game to last year, which is what we paid him to do.

I brought up a valid way Felton can help Novak to get him open (I see no help for Brewer). I used Lin as an example - he played well with Novak. Now, instead of focusing on that part, why not take part in the actual constructive thought? I enjoyed your attempt at poetry though. "when" the heart flutters... and "fall by the wayside" - I think you meant.
