Calling for end of the bench players to "get burn" on Christmas Day against the lakers is a sign that you feel we are living in the land of the "not make the playoffs" Knicks.
We are in first place...we don't give guys burn for the goof. We want this win fellas. It was a playoff atmosphere.
I'm not going to make an excuses for Felton..I think he is shooting to much..Love the guy tho...I think it was one of those games to get people looks although DHow was prepared given all the lobs he saw the last game in NY...
Felton's pinky was dislocated and he came back in the game...
If in the pick and roll and the defender goes under the screen, the play calls for a shot. If Tyson is covered, the play calls for a shot.
I didn't see anything that indicated he was out of control or any different from games where his shot was falling (see heat game).
I've enjoyed this season and no longer complain after every bad game like before when we sucked and were looking for a starting lineup.
ThE scheme is what I'm focusing in and the interchangeable players in the scheme.
Seeing Kurt Thomas start does NOT mean Kurt Thomas is the top 5 player on the team. He's keeping that spot warm for a player to fit into that scheme (amare) same when Copland starts for melo.
Watch the games, check the plays, see where melo is and the other players around the pick and roll.
Shooting is the preferred play by the point guard and his hands are so bad he's sitting tonight.
He gets a pass.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare
