What the heck was that crazy turn-around hard as hell 3 with a ton of time still on the clock? That couldn't have been the play call ...could it ??? Melo needs the ball in his hands in that situation...if they double...THEN kick to JR for a in the flow 3 attempt.

JR played a great game but I am still scratching me head at that shot

The shot was in the flow of e offense. There wasn't any time left on the shot ****, looked like a good shot and he just missed.

To call it wild is a false observation of the game and/or play.

And most agree, hence no comments on this thread that should just be locked.

Harv are you talking about the three that he took early in the clock where he had his back to the defender and spun to face the basket when he shot? The shot Breen criticized? If that was the one I thought it was a bad shot but I also thought it was a shot that JR takes every game. I was more surprised with Breen's criticism as that is typical JR and something that he sees every night broadcasting the Knicks.

yes-- I think we were down 3 with less than a minute coming out of a timeout-- there was no need to rush or force any shot at that moment.... shocked that others didn't have same reaction as I did

I did, They have been talking about how Woodson is one of the best coaches for calling plays out of time outs. I can't imagine that he called that. I also was annoyed with Breen who sees JR shoot that shot every Knick game. Let JVG call that shot out.

You're thinking of a different shot. This came after we called a timeout with 40 seconds left in the game. There was plenty of time on the shot clock, JR just made a terrible play.

I believe the idea was to get a quick shot attempt up in order to maximize the number of possessions the Knicks could get. The shot went in and out. Not a huge deal to me. He was taking and hitting bad shots all game. It's what he does.

I think there is confusion at to which three people are referring to..There was a wild turn around three with the clock running out that he hit...There was another three with the Knicks down 3 pts with under a minute to go...That wasn't a wild three, maybe not a good shot at that point in the game because they still had another possession if they missed..My thoughts at the time was they could have worked a better look and go for the two and put pressure on LA to execute again...No biggie, Woody has been awesome this year for me to quiz him on every single play...JR played a great game...One of those things...

One thing tho, people expect role players to play like superstars through out an entire game...They expect them to execute on every possession...It's a bit much..JR had a very good game yesterday...Be happy with that...

Exactly.

We needed more than 24 seconds on the clock. JVG pointed it out just before.

Maybe watch the game again with the sound and you will know why the shot was taken. Also, they collapsed on melo I believe.

I think helloharv is just confused and wants to know what happened at the last shot, a bunch of people knew why and it seems it has been explained.

He doesn't seem to be a long time Knicks game watcher and isn't as up.

Great team educational effort. :-)

Why would we talk about a game against Miami? We played LA last night.
