Shhhhh! Much as I like Felton, he doesn't exactly need anymore encouragement to take even more shots at the moment.

This isn't going to be anywhere near as easy as the last game vs the Lakers- with Gasol back along side Dwight Howard, it's a nightmare match up for us, especially when it comes to rebounding. We could easily get in foul trouble too. Really, if ever there was a game for Camby to come back and shine, this is it. Whether he'll even get any minutes, or even if he does, what kind of shape he's in, I have no idea.

Nash hit some key shots and made some great passes that lead to important baskets in the Lakers last win. Kobe will be out looking to kill. We've looked ropey the last few games, hope we can get back on track starting with this game.

Oh and whats with the schedulers also giving us a game tomorrow as well?! If a teams playing christmas day, at least give them boxing day off.

At least Jeff will keep Breen in check with his nonsense.

Aren't Breen and Van Gundy ABC's #1 announcing team? I would think they'd be doing OKC-Miami.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

should be an interesting, litmus test sort of game. here's what i will be watching for with our squad:

1)handling mismatches and cross matching among artest, gasol, and melo
2)defensive intensity
3)maintaining poise and playing under control, drawing fouls
4)moving the ball to find the player with the best look
5)do we outrebound or get outrebounded
6)does felton take fewer than 13 shots and does melo take fewer than 18 shots

if the knicks get blown out they have some soul-searching to do.
if they win, even if not convincingly, it will be a huge lift and momentum provider.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

the lakers still have no shooters, and no defense, this is not a mda roster, the coaching staff is mis-match put together on the fly..

Plenty of reason why we could win this game, defense being the first..

ray should have a good game

Melo is averaging 20 shots per, why do you feel he needs to take less than 18? Felton is averaging 16 shots per, which is a bit much on paper, however, if the Lakers roll under the picks to take Tyson away, Felton has to take some to keep them honest.

The flow/tempo of the game will dictate how many shots each person takes. Cant put a cap on the number of shots player takes before the game...

Anyone else find Jalen Rose incredibly annoying? Btw has anyone ever called Wilbon out on his obvious Knick hatred?
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I am looking for Melo to take 20 pct fewer shots than Kobe

I want to see the defense we saw the first month of the season. lately our defense has slipped. Hopefully Camby can give us some good minutes. also novak is due for a big game

i think a balanced attack is better and speaks to genuine cohesion and synergy. when felton takes that many shots it is indicative of an unbalanced attack. and anthony has always taken 4-5 too many shots for most of his career, which has led him nowhere.
