Brewer has lost his offense and his d hasn't been as good. Cope is a much better offensive player and would spread the floor. However cope is a very aggressive offensive player. His game might be better suited for the second unit.

We could use his offense to start games. Tyson, Brewer, felton and Kidd don't give you much offense

I think Brewer's knee is really bothering him. I'd like to see Novak take over as starter and let Brewer sit out like 2 weeks to hopefully recuperate.

I agree about his knee. Novak, cope or white could fill in. Brewer is not playing a lot of minutes anyway. If rest could get him back to where he was earlier it would definitely be a smart move.

My preference has always been Novak, but you could probably start virtually anyone on the team at Brewer's spot at this point without hurting the team.

I don't mind felton misses to much cause at some point he does hit big shots and makes chandler a better offensive player..brewer has become a complete liabilty on offense, suspect on defense, and is not a good rebounder..

true he doesn't log a bunch of minutes, but his misses are ugly and gives away any momentum the team tries to get.

He may get the Tony douglas treament once shump returns

Kidd is not a pg because he can not penetrate off the PnR and he not a good enough shooter to hit the 15 footer. I would like to see him post up more like he did in Dallas to set up players off the post.

That's only if Brewer doesn't shoot, cuz Felton takes 20 shots by himself.

What happened to the "Brewer Fables", you know the one where he comes to NY cuz he wants to be here, the one where he turns down bigger money to play in the "Mecca" and "the worlds famous arena"...?

The one where upon arriving at Grand Central station to meet with Grunwald he helps a little old lady up the stairs, Does CPR on a man whose heart stopped, and fed a homeless man giving him money and stock tips, in which he invested and made enough to buy a big enough home to run a shelter for homeless to come in from the cold!

I like that Ron Brewer fable.

Oh, but we have new ones now with Copeland? Do tell!

I think he is having trouble with his knee.

The guy plays good defense, but his offense is utter garbage. I would like Copeland to start instead of Brewer. For a big man he can put the ball on the floor. I think he will be a good player if he is given the opportunity. I just hope we give him that.

Brewer is not 100% Imo, he'll get better.

I doubt thats the reason. He is just not any good. There is a reason Chicago let him go and brought in Belinelli and Jimmy Butler. Good franchise!

Yeah there is a good reason, they had Jimmy Butler and was paying Brewer 4 million, doesn't mean he isn't 100 percent right now.
