Zach Randolph David Lee and Jamal Crawford are all playing serious roles on some top NBA teams this year. Even Nate has held his own with Chicago as the primary back up. Too bad we couldnt make it work here--the talent was here.

If only Houston wasn't shot and Marbury a headcase, that was a good supporting case.

I've been pro Isiah for his scouting more than anybody on this board. Glad somebody is finally seeing the light. We just had the wrong guys in the wrong roles.

Isiah should've been hired as the team scout. (and off the topic) MDA should've been our offensive coordinator / assistant. Neither was ready for the head coaching job in NY, at that time.

Hey....I knew I was the minority on this one. But it's all good. I never said he was a good coach or GM.....Just for the record.

everyone in the NBA can play. that is why they are there. it is how that talent is managed and comes together that is the difference maker.

To me it proves all the more Danphoney was brought here to utilize his gimmick style of play until we changed over the roster over and got a knicks type of defensive coach here to try and win again like a Mike Woodson.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I give him no credit. Jamal has had two good seasons in the past 8 seasons. Dont forget isiah took on JYD 35MM contract in order tobsign a bench guard to a 55MM contract.

David Lee is a great player the genius also traded an expiring contract to take on 9MM a year of Malik Rose for two pics he could have bought.

Nate, he traded Kurt Thomas who was a winning player for Richardson and his bad back who sucked.in NYC.

So he gets zero credit, especially since he pair Zach with Curry a nightmare

The finding of talent was never Isiah's problem. He was very strong in that regard. It was the contracts in which held us back. Curry's contract is only one example. The extreme player contracts is what held our franchise back from A.) Landing more talent and B.) Becoming an actual team.

The records of Isiah, Larry and MDA speak for itself with the talent that was here.

The core roster didn't work for Isiah, Larry or MDA.

his biggest problem was that he was revered by a cynical low-life who cares more about money than winning. and being infatuated with himself he foolishly believed that he could put together a playoff team on the fly and throw money at a collection of so-called talent that would mesh. either that or he was too cowardly to tell dolan the truth-- that you need patience and a plan. he never brought in players who play the right way. that some of his finds are finally showing signs of playing the right way, long after their tenure here, discredits him further.

Is this serious? Zach and Marbury were established star-level talent. Everyone saw their talent. The problem was getting in the right environment and system to succeed. I'll give you Lee, but Jamal and Nate are not starters in this league. In your assessment, you conveniently left out all his other key acquisitions--a washed up Vin Baker, Steve Francis, Jerome James, Eddy Curry, Jared Jeffries, Balkman over Rondo. Sorry, but I wouldn't want Isiaiah's input on any level.

The job of sport executive is to bring in talent for below market price, maintain flexibility, build winning culture, team spirit, and high human values in the organization.
Isiah is well known for doing just the opposite. He is very easy case of clear evil. Easy to identify and to stay away from.
So most of the world except of some delusional clowns like Dolan do.

They were overpaid players who were not ready for the prime time leadership that the contracts paid them.

Thats why they became available. Eddy, Marbles, Craw and Zbo all individual talents but together was not a team. Craw's best role has been coming off the bench. Eddy's best role is the Jelly Role. Z-bo needs a real center to play off of. Marc Gasol makes Zach better, and visa versa. Jerome James and Eddy are not the best fit for Zach.

Isiah drafted well and special Nate in the right circumstances was bound to do well. He has yet to receive the long term contract because he is "touched" but his talent has never been a question.

Dlee has been a solid pro from day one. He is not a 5 which he was here.

just goes to show Knicks have no patience with talent. Golden State and Lee are rolling and he's a bigtime player. Denver is rolling also with Gallo winning the game last night. We tried to trade Shump for Nash. Douglas and Lin both playing well and have beaten us twice.. its a problem with the organization for sure

you must be having a laugh... a bunch of secondary pieces--at best--elsewhere were primary pieces here. And what are we going to do, forget Stephon Marbury, Penny Hardaway, Jerome James, Eddy Curry... how about the wonderful coaching environments for Lenny and Larry? I'm sure Isiah said he deserved this type of of credit to Anucha Brown Suanders while he was unzipping his pants. Time for you to pass to the left bro because Isiah Thomas deserves no ****ing credit at all. You seriously must be having a laugh

Denver has had an insanely bad schedule to start the season - 18 away and 8 home games, and their opponents have a .542 winning%. They've been consistently in the top 10 in Hollinger's power rankings. I think they'll finish with at least a .600 winning percentage - maybe even upper .600s. They're currently #7 in the league in power rankings and we're #5.

that and for every good Zeke pick there was a lemon or a total swing and miss. Like taking Balkman with Rondo on the board (if memory serves me). The only thing Zeke did was actually draft guys.

Picks are going to be huge, and should be looking to aquire them. Knicks are going to need the cheap labor if nothing else

I hate that the new CBA made it much harder to buy picks.
