Marcus Camby (foot) will get a cortisone shot on Tuesday and plans to play on Friday against the Bulls.
Camby hasn't played since November 26, and he hasn't been a part of the rotation at all this season. He's averaging just 7.5 minutes per game, and he's been a regular DNP-Coach's Decision even when healthy.

I want Copeland to get more minutes, but this is very nice of Camby.

The Knicks could use a defensive presence in the middle.

when he did get minutes he looked slower then a tug boat...I really can call it with this guy, he was relatively healthy the last few years, what kinda luck is that to come back to a team with the same injury you left with 10 yrs ago..wtf

What kind of shape can he possibly be in..No training camp and played spot minutes in a couple of games in the last 2 months..

he wouldnt even accept the veterans minimum. So it cost us like 4 million and draft picks. i loved the jason kidd move but so far camby has been a bust

I dont think Copeland will grab any of Camby's minutes--we need the D(I also dont think Camby can give more than 8-9 minutes). If Copeland grabs any minutes it might be from Novak who needs to step up a little bit.

Somebody...anybody...who can help soak up some fouls for Chandler, while guarding the rim, after every guard in the NBA blows by Felton and Kidd.

Anything we can get is a bonus at this point. Defensively, we've been a bit lacking in denying penetration lately. Hopefully, Camby can shore some of that up for 10 minutes or so.
