Damn. Any links?

Anyway, hopefully H20 can get it fixed this summer. I'd rather have him healthy next season than rush it for the playoffs.

I think Demarr or Penny should start in place of Houston. I say start Penny because Demarr can give us a spark off the bench. Penny isn't consistent enough on offense to be the sixth man. Demarr although he's hitting his shots still looks a little lost but he will get it together the more he plays. Plus he's a better defender than Shandon. If we can do that, losing H20 as that bad, but if Shandon starts....
IT IS REALLLL BAD

Demarr didn't do particularly well on defense last night. Prince was scoring like crazy and getting to the rim on backdoors. However, I think Demarr has the potential to be good defensively. I don't think we can say he's better than Shandon. Shandon's a little overrated defensively (Clyde always calls him the Knicks best defender), but he's very good against players which are his size or smaller.

penny would be great as the starting SG. He's a very good rebounding guard, plays good D, good passer. He just does all the little things. It would give the starting lineup a good mix of offense, defense and rebounding.

I think Prince is a tough matchup for Demarr thats all. On most nights Demarr will give smaller SG's a tough time. Just look at T-mac on H20 for example. We don't need Shandon's overrated D, especially if he's going to turn the ball over ever time and put up 12 shots and go 4-12 with 8 blown layups. We need Deke's defense mor than we need Shandon's.

Start Penny..bring Demarr off the bench for an offensive spark. Sounds like a no brainer to me.

Agree with the basic point to start Penny. He is a more versatile player than the other two (though I wish his shot would come around again). Penny has done a nice job rebounding, and I agree that his ballhandling/passing could be used, especially since Marbury needs a break. I see DeMarr as an instant offense, almost John Starks type. He can come in and nail some big 3's.

this is the way it should go...

marbury at pg
penny at sg
t. thomas at sf
k. thomas at pf
nazr at C

depending on the opponent and individual matchups of penny vs opponent should determine the mins dermarr gets off the bench, besides at dermarr's size he can come in for tim thomas or penny... besides penny can get into foul trouble early bc of his aggressiveness so dermarr could end up playing more than penny just bc of foul trouble
it aint marbury its STARBURY!

Yup....

Shandon is a bum. Penny should start but he's been playing like he was never an allstar. He's lost his confidence offensively big time.
Demarr scores like he's doing stuff by accident. I like him though for some reason. I think it's his size at the swingman spot.

Tim Thomas is the Key to this team though. I pulled my groin playing baseball as a kid....it wasn't that serious but I remember it not being alot of fun. Can't wait till he comes back!

Its a tough one... I pulled a groin playing football about 5 years ago (I was 25 when it happened) and it was 3 weeks before I could move my leg normaly. It was so bad for the first 2 weeks I had to drag my leg into the car when I sat down by pulling my pants leg. It was terrible. It will heal but it can linger and get reinjured if not rested properly. TT is so important to us... hes our best outside shooter without H20 and the only guy that can finish on a freakin break.

Houston is done. Hopefully he retires and we get an injury exceptin and get Sheed or Kobe just with that combined with the MLE (if you can do that at all, combine that is). He is a perfect example of what happens to guards over 30 who play too many minutes. Thanks Chaney for riding this guy into the ground for 2 years when there was no hope of any winning. Thanks Layden for the same thing. The list of atrocities commited by the Layden/Chaney regime just continues to grow.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I hear ya Fish... I never experienced a Grion injury myself but have had friends who had the pleasure of one.. I heard it really sucks..
But ya gotta think... with all the money and Personal trainers, sports therapists, and doctors available to these guys... they should be able to come back sooner than some average joe who has to pay a co-pay whever he wants a doctor to just look at what could be wrong.
