Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I couldn't care less what the media et al have to say about how he will fit in with the team, I will welcome him back with open arms. The team is too beat up for me to thumb my nose up at his return.

“@cc24ny: @alanhahn I don't have my glasses with me and I'm in the 200s. Is that STAT working out?” It was yes. He was out for 90 minutes

90 minutes? NIIIICE. Is it impossible for him to return by Christmas? It would be a happy Christmas indeed to see Amar'e in the lineup vs the Lakers.

Read a report that hes gonna practice with the D-League team and if he can go through practices with them and not have any soreness the next day then he could be back as early as this weekend

EDIT: Not exactly what I read but here are the tweets

Jared Zwerling ‏@JaredZwerling

Amare has been cleared to practice. #Knicks ... He'll practice with the D-League team this week. They are in town.

Alan Hahn ‏@alanhahn

Woodson says Amare cleared to practice but he won’t rush him back. Did not rule out a return as early as this weekend. Depends how he feels.

50m Ken Berger Ken Berger ‏@KBergCBS

With the Knicks' limited practice time, Woodson says Stoudemire's best chance of getting reps is with the D-League squad.

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Throwing out a question to all before the game starts:

Would our first home loss be easier to stomach while we are depleted by injuries vs a team like the Rockets (a .500 or slightly below .500 team) or with all hands on deck in a hard fought game against a top-ranked opponent?

Isola:
Terrific response to Jeremy Lin during player intros. The perentage of fans at MSG cheering was probably -- wait for it -- 85%

Knicks need to do a better job of controlling the tempo of the game. This reminds me of the Nuggets game. Can't let them run all over the place. Slow them down.

They've scored just about every point inside the paint, and most of those have come from fast breaks. Clamp down on D faster.
