Don't read too into that tweet. Isola is one of the guys who didn't want the Knicks to match Lin's contract and question why Lin didn't play at "85%" in a meaningless series vs Miami

I don't know - he's been burying Lin nonstop since the "85%" comment.

I think it might be in reference to the Rockets being the first team that beat the Knicks coming off of a loss in the regular season since the Woodson era began.

Damn no Melo. Might lose our first game at the Garden tonight

Remember, Carmelo has a sprained left ankle but he also said his left knee is sore

Melo need to heal up 100% but I'll agree to disagree in regards to our first loss at home. The Rockets are not the Miami Heat. And we blew Miami out of the water without Melo. Houston isn't even on Chicago's level and we played the Bulls tight. Houston is an awful road team. A road record of only 2-7. Signs of a team that's weak minded.

But yea, the news on Melo is scary. The kneee is also sore? Why hasn't he taken X-Rays...?

It's a sprained knee. Not really a concern as long as he gives it enough rest. He will prob play Wed vs the Nyets. Let me rephrase that. He better play Wed against the NYETS!

If the Knicks trap the PnR handler they will disrupt Houston's O.

:/

I don't know how I want our first home loss to go but I sure as hell don't want to lose to the Rockets after they spanked our butts in Houston.

We were never gonna be 41-0 but this would sting. Honestly, I don't find home losses to teams other than the Spurs/Heat/Grizz/Thunder to be acceptable. I don't even want to lose to the Grizz after the loss in Memphis.

I'm not surprised. Melo gets so beat up so bad going to the basket and half of the time he don't even get a call. For all the Melo haters out there we will see tonight just how important Melo is. Houston will come in here ready to play and beleive that they will win. I hope the Knicks step up there defense and stop playing D'Antoni style ball.

On the upside, Isola reported that Amar'e is cleared to practice. So it won't be long til we have another scoring threat should Melo go down again. Thank goodness. I couldn't care less what the media et al have to say about how he will fit in with the team, I will welcome him back with open arms. The team is too beat up for me to thumb my nose up at his return.

Plus he's on my fantasy team. He would be waived already if he didn't snag almost 2 steals a game.

I'll be fine as long as Lin does well against every team but the Knicks!

Seriously, my favorite ex-Knick is David Lee. Big ups to his being named player of the week. He's the one Knick I really hated to see go, glad to see him doing so well. That said, I still want him to suck hard when we play GS!

Melo's still out?

So is Sheed?

Oh, well. We have to go into battle with every hand that we have on deck. GO KNICKS!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

David Lee is on an absolute TEAR! And his team is actually WINNING! Happy for him. David Lee is also on my fantasy team.

Too bad he wasn't coached by MJax in NY.

90 minutes? NIIIICE. Is it impossible for him to return by Christmas? It would be a happy Christmas indeed to see Amar'e in the lineup vs the Lakers.
